FEAR THE LEMMING!
Well, I'm going to make them for 40K. Decided off topic would be the best place for them. Working on them now. Anyone wanna help? Being able to play a army which is both like space marines, and are not, would be fun.

Dude!

Dune is the best friggin' tale there is!!
It puts Star Wars and Star Trek to shame (unfortunately no one has been able to re-create the movie besides the moderate version of it on Sci Fi, good try though).

As anyone who knows about Dune, Muah Dib is actually member of the Skaven Race!!!

It will be hard to a find an imperium army to represent them, statistically I mean.
Maybe the human assassin's stats or maybe even harlequin stats (no armor, super-combat skilled warriors, etc...).

Hope you can find what your looking for (I've been out of touch w/ 40K for a while).

FEAR THE LEMMING!
I think the sci-fi thing was based off the game...not sure though. I saw part of it, and remember a cut scene.
And yes, Dune will now, and forever, put Star Wars and Star Trek to shame.

I never played Harlequin...or knew what they were, for that matter. All I knew is that one of them could kill like, 5 marines...
All I have is rules for Fremen so far. I don't think they'd be like super warriors, 'cept for the Sardukar and Fremen. Here is the Fremen thing, if you wan't to comment or compact (Its big!), be my guest.

Fremen Warriors: 15 points each. Fast Attack without the Thumper, heavy support with the Thumper.
WS: 4, BS: 4, S: 4, T: 3, W: 1, I: 4, A: 1, Ld: 9.
5-10 in a squad.
Armed with Fremen Sniper Rifles, Cloaks.
One Fremen in the Squad may be armed with a Thumper at +25 points.
Fremen Sniper rifles: Rending Ammunition (Just like Rending Claws!)
Fremen Cloaks: 5+ cover, or +1 to any cover they are in.
0-1 Thumper: The Thumper may be fired as a flame template. If so, it’s a S8, AP3. However, it hit’s the leadership of the unit hit, instead of the toughness. It may not instant kill.
Fearless: The Fremen would rather die then allow their Steich members 'Water' to go to the enemy. They are therefore fearless.
Or, the squad can chose to Summon a Sand Worm. If so, roll a die at the start of each turn. On a 4+, the Worm arrives. Roll another die. If it is a 1, then the squad it eaten, as the Worm didn’t like them. If anything else, the Worm arrives. The Squad may now move while waiting for the Worm, and must chose to do so before the game starts. They may elect to stop summoning the Worm after they get bored.

Worm: The Fremen ride atop the Worm, which makes them happy, and the enemies sad. The Worm is big. Very big. Use a Vindicator or Rhino or something…or just a lump. Maybe the Mumakill base. Whichever works. Place the squad of Fremen on top of the worm. The Fremen may shoot if they are atop the Worm and the Worm moves. The Worm may move up to 12’. You may assault the worm if you are a skimmer/jet pack. You will assault the Fremen, actually, and combat happens as normal. (If the Thumper is in combat, the Worm moves 12’ in a random direction. The Thumper must be in base contact to be in combat.) The Thumper may not shoot if he is driving the Worm. All units (ALL!) within 6’ of the front of the worm at the start of a turn must roll a die. On a 4+, the model is EATEN! BWAHAHAHA! The Worm may be irritated, and sent back into the ground. S3 wounds on a 6, then 6. S4, a 6, then a 5. S5, a 6, then a 4. S6, a 6. S7, a 5. S8, a four. S9, a 3. S10, a 2. The Worm must be irritated twice in order to be send into the ground. If the Worm is shot, and not irritated, it will go towards the nearest enemy unit. If the Worm is irritated, roll a die for each Fremen on it. On a 4+, the Fremen who get it die. The Worm provides a 4+ cover save. You may chose if you are shooting the Worm or Fremen riding it. The Worm is a size 3 creature. (IE: Can be shot at without the LD test, may be shot at unless a very big building, or very large tank/creature is in the way.) If all the Fremen atop the Worm die, the Worm goes into the ground, taking those on top with it. If those on top have jet packs, they escape on a 2+. If those on top have a 4+ save or worse, and not jet packs, they get away on a 4+. A 3+ save gets away on a 5, and 2+ saves get away on 6’s.
