Press: New Poll Then, write down your question. Then, and this is the important part: If you want a single answer, chose the single choice (1) in the menu. Do NOT chose the number corresponding to the number of poll questions you have. The pull down meny with the single choice (1) and so on, is ONLY there to show how many boxes you are supposed to tick off to answer the poll. For example, take this poll: ---
--- Here you want people to make ONE choice, so you chose the single choice (1) option, despite having fore possible answers. On the other hand: ---
--- Here you pick the 'multi-choice (2)' answer, and people will have to make TWO choices to make the poll work. If it does at all... I have never been able to make a working multi choice poll. So stick to ONE choice and it will work out! So really, it should be called 'single-answer' and 'multi-answer' and things would have been sooo muche asier to understand. |

How to make a poll that doesnt annoy Mutator? Use them sparingly, and only for statistical analyses. For example, "What is your favourite clan?" and then a list of skaven clans doesnt really require a poll - people are quite capable of typing their reply, and giving their justification - which is the point of the question anyway. Otherwise who cares? ![]() However, the sorts of things that polls are good for are along the lines of "how many members have signed up to the Underempire Civil War Campaign?", as this doesnt require a reply in the thread - all the information is contained within the poll itself, it is merely a request for numbers. If you turn it into a "...and state your reason" type question then you dont need the poll, as you can count the replies as you read them. |

If the answer relies upon more text than a yes/no answer, then you dont need a poll. If the answer relies solely upon a yes/no answer, then a poll is acceptible. IMO, of course
