I was in my local bank the other day (taking out money to buy Dawn of War) when I noticed that they had a Christmas tree up. A small one, but a Christmas tree none the less. A Christmas tree. In September. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???!!!!!!!! It's bad enough having to wait a whole year between getting presents without places putting up Christmas trees THREE MONTHS EARLY!!! Anyway, hope that now you're all thinking about Christmas, and that these thoughts will continue to eat away at your very soul until you can think of nothing but Christmas. Ho. Ho. Ho.

dude...... don't you have a birthday? shops alays put up decorations/trees early in order to whip the nation up into a consumerist frenzy of buying really stupid things for one another, and it seems to work..... from september to december they'll keep on bombarding you with the fact that christmas is only a few months away until you go crazy and buy stuff........ quite sick really i only get one gift for each family member (and they all get one gift for each other as well, it's not me being cheap/skint) and my friends just keep money circulating...... as in: it's jim's B-day 2morrow, he will get a fiver from everyone. but when everyone else has their birthdays, he gives em each a fiver..... it's feels like your getting a massive amount of money, but really, you end up giving it all back to the same people....... |

Yep. And I'm one of those lucky people who was born on Christmas Day, hence having to wait a whole year for presents... |

He Who Needs To Stick Around For Once
|
where I live, people put up halloween decorations around august, Thanksgiving (USA thing) around September, and Christmas around October... Oddly enough, we also get Valentines day stuff in October... Nobody takes down their decoratios (unless they're putting other ones up) for at least three months after the holiday. My parents think this should be illegal... |

Guess who's back? ...Yes, back again. This time to stay.

Gotta love driving around at night and seeing christmas lights still lit up in the middle of May. Man, having a birthday on christmas is one of the worst things known to man-kind. Everyone becomes cheap and thinks that one gift should be enough to cover both occasions! I still make money on birthdays, usually from my grandparents (around 200$ each) and from relatives I never see (around 20-50$ each). One problem for me is that I have a twin, so when it's our birthday some people will give each of us less money than they would normally give one person on his birthday. People like inviting us though, becasue we always give 20$ each. best of all, my parents actually pay for it so I don't lose any money!

I was born on halloween(don't ask)
Welcome to my world... you are gonna stay here for a while, I'm sure.
I think, over 50 years, they won't put the decoration away anymore. I hate those pigs. In pink floyd's "Pigs(three different ones)" they had to put another couplet about this. I don't do christmas like most people. I buy a present for my closest friends(and ask them wat they want first) and on christmas, I'm making a meal for the homeless in Holland's big city's. They deserve a christmas, for the only people who actualy benefit of it, are the big company pigs(who should die-die... Deathmaster Mik, could you arrange that? :ph43r: ) I hate Christmas the way it is celebrated nowdays. All I got to say about it. |
