I personally think that Slannesh is the worst. They can totally shut down an opposing army. What do you think?

Heavens- one word reason. Comet. er... and the ligntning bolts and stuff, but Comet is deadly. My biggest fear is Comet+the Reroll spell, re-roll failed strikes of the comet for maximum kablooie.
Guess who's back?
...Yes, back again. This time to stay.

The comet is very very nasty, yes. (but not as nasty as it used to be, with strength 4 instead of 5.) However, you get several chances to dispel it, or move out of the way, and it sometimes hits your opponent as well as you. Also, it takes quite a few comets to really hurt a Skaven army. The biggest threat is to your support units and weapon teams.

Slaanesh, I thought long and hard about that one. I haven't come up against it that often, and managed to dispel the really nasty stuff when I did. Still, the potential of those spells is awesome. Maybe I don't rate it the highest threat because Chaos armies around here usually have fewer mages than warriors. (Although one player is fond of Sorcerer Lords with some kind of Daemon Sword.)

In the end, I deem Necromancy to be the most dangerous lore. This one has the dreaded movement spell, an offensive spell that can kill the largest blocks of Skaven, and of course the spell that raises entire new units from the ground. No matter how bad one of my units suddenly marching the wrong way is, having 12 newly created Zombies charge my rear is worse.
"I have a post-Armageddon vision. We and all other large animals are gone. Rodents emerge as the ultimate post-human scavengers. They gnaw their way through New York, London and Tokyo... within 5 million years, a whole range of new species replace the ones we know. Herds of giant grazing rats are stalked by sabre-toothed predatory rats. Given enough time, will a species of intelligent, cultivated rats emerge?"

You didn't include the lore of Skaven...
I personally fear the Lore of Shadows most, simply because of the Shades of Death/Unseen Lurker combo. It's like fighting Undead all over again...

Well, I got as far as reading the first spell (the magic missile, whatever it's called) and I fell about laughing so much that I didn't read the rest. That spell has to be the worst spell ever (unless they've updated it now). It's not really going to kill anything much, is it?

Vasquisk...read the first spell again. That think is great for killing hurt Super-heroes. *CoughChaoslordCough*. Look at Law of Gold, the Bane of Forged Iron, Transmutation to Lead. Those all...just friggin KILL! Look and read carefully!

Vampire counts.

It makes me cry when I killed a scary unit of skelletons, just to see them return in all their glory! I mean... he puts them off the table, an then he puts them back on with two extra models *sniff*

naw, the Waaagh Lore is the most scary of them all.. My opponent has duefully made me respect his darn magician that constantly gets;
1. the Warpath, bane of all single characters, ratlings and scouts.
2.The nice lil' Waaagh spell.. getting that unwanted and really unpredicted charge by boarriders and/or wolfriders in the flank sucks big time.
3.oh, anoother big whopping foot of gork right after i dispelled the first. Bye, bye mage.
4.And of course, he always includes at least one hero shaman. Which also of course always gets fists of gork or the 2d6 magicmissile.. That first one really hurts on my big regiments.. =(

Is writing Dragon Age fanfiction

I went for Waagh magic, mostly from instinct.

My Ork opponent always keeps exploding, but I just know that one day... one day he'll get it right and I'll be dust. Waagh magic just scares me...

But going by reason I would go for: Slaanesh/Heavens/Metal/Necromancy.

Necromancy is nasty, but it needs to be since the undead troops are so... well... dead. Metal can be downright nasty against opponents like chaos, but I'm not that bothered by it as a rat. Heavens is nasty as well, but only against weapon teams and free roaming characters. Slaanesh however... no single list has EVER made such a mess of my battle line as that one. Subtle, nasty and downright evil...

But I voted Waagh... it's Orks, what other reason do you need?
I am currently writing an epic Dragon Age 2 adventure that can be found HERE!! or on my deviantart.

Slaanesh magic gets my vote is the gamewinning lore, closely followed by the unsurpassed brutality of the Big Waaagh.

If I had to choose a third I'd go for Heavens - it has something for (and versus) everyone, and the reroll spell as the default is a killer.

Of course, my favourite spell remains warp lightning. I've always liked that spell ;)

I swear the first spell only causes one hit... Unless I've misread it (which I always do... sigh, gonna have to start reading the rulebook all over again).
However, if by some freakish incident I am right, and it does only cause one hit, then I don't see how anyone's gonna be able to kill a Chaos Lord with that.

I find tomb king magic can be pretty bad - kinda unrelentless, cus of the fear thing, and the extra movement and shooting. Not so much of a problem for skaven (TK prob won't outnumber) but for other armies...
