That;s not a legal list is it? 2 core units only? I was under the impresion you needed 3 minimum for a 2000 point army (which it must be to take a master assassin) as for snitch - take him he's cool |

Take two sorcerors. It means you have a pretty good chance of getting a skitterleap of on turn two at the latest. Use a fellblade or the weeping blades/ bands of power on the Master Assassin. You need the extra attack he provides and the multiple wounds to get the big kill in combat. To be honest the Warpstone Throwing Stars are wasted on the MA with bands of power. The gutter runners are too big. You will not get all the models attacking, and with a large unit it is far more difficult maneouvering out of peoples charge reach. I'd drop to three units, and make one a tunnelling team. Against Eltharion I'd consider using Snikch, but still probably go with the fellblade. Good luck! Richard |

When you say the gutter runners are fully equiped does that mean you gave them slings or throwing stars? Also I would advise you to break down your units. The whole point of having an all skirmisher force is that you can out manuever the enemy. With groups such as 15 gutter runners together it's just not going to happen. I personally prefer groups of about 8 so that would open up some room if you wanted to upgrade to snitch. I also agree that the fellblade is a good idea. |

a.k.a. I-D-I-O-T (Dark Lords of the Overempire)

Here's my advice. Snikch Snikch Snikch. Snikch Snikch Snikch. SnikchSnikchSnikchSnikchSnikch. Snikchy Snikch-Snikch. Yep, that's right, take Snikch. Actually, I was looking at Eltharion's rules, and my eye drifted over to the Dark Elf assassin (Shadowblade or something?). How come he gets to hide in an enemy unit, when Snikch can't? Mutter mutter Snikch... |

My friend plays DE........ man shadowblade is crazy. Same stats as Snikch with armor and more likely wardsave. Also gets to hide in any enemy or friendly unit + a bunch more spiffy stuff. |

Warlord-Assassin

Yeah, Shadowblade is quite hard. The bad thing is that Eltharion could kick his ass. By using the way of the willow branch all the time. But hiding in enemy units are nice.. Watch out for that! I wonder what would happen if he hide himself in the same unit as you had your master assassin hidden! ![]() -Warlord of Clan Nurf
