Against knights you should use loads of plague censer bearers, or 2 ratling guns Stormvermin vs. grave guard works well enough... (banner of the swarm could be handy!) Against those wolfies, ratlings (again) or jezzails Well, against necromancers you just need heavy magic defence or some tunnel runner teams Greetz |

If I were you 1) get tunnel teams to cause trouble behind his black knights 2) get both a BSB and a warlord in your clanrat unit that is going to be charged by the knights 3) give the BSB the war banner. 4) deploy a unit of jezzails on your flank (so that if you line breaks you can shoot at his knights for a turn or two) 5) Either have 2 warlocks with dispel scrolls or have two assassins (scouting and just running around his army) 6) If that doesn't work yell CHEESE! |

claim some higher terrain for your jezzials! Then you can shoot at the BK without detsroying the wolves. Then Down the hill, some ratling to destroy his wolves (1-2 turn an their gone if you take 2), when their dead, continue on the BK themselve! And as a bonus a 25 strong Plage Monk unit with 7-9 Censer Bearers. If that vampire if the general, focus all on that unit. Hoping to detsroy it, and make the rest of his army weaker, and weaker.... You must invest some points but you got 3 (or 4) units that really kick as his BK. And when the vampire (general) is dead... |

To stop those BK, force them to charge 3-4 rat swarms. Belive me, he will me 2-3 turns bussy killing them. And underwile, you got time to get to his flanks. And shoot some good stuff with your ratling gun, standing behind the ratswarms (who cares you hits some of your own?) |

As long as the chances of you shooting the last rat-swarm base to kingdom-come is very small. You should always make sure the opponent kills them off, to delay them one more round. (editted topic name slightly) Greetz, DM Mik |

use the eshin list! they tear the undead to shreds. i took out a blood dragon uberlord in one turn a few weeks back. skitterlept my master assassin into hth, used the bands of power and weeping blade to slice and dice. after that, the army falls to pieces. |

I say for sure take an assassin, and use rattling guns instead of WFT. No grey seer, just two warlocks as scroll caddies. Arm your assassin with warpstone stars or the weeping blade depending on who you want to kill, the general in cc or the three necromancers from a distance. Dont forget smoke in case you get unlucky once. |

Now that VC army is CHEESEY!!!!!! and very power gaming as well! Good luck beating him, I like to see cheesey armies go down. Use ratlings, WFT's on them. Oh, and PWG's against the knights. Tie them up with slaves. |
