Well I've finally got my tournament list ready and sent it off to the powers that be, it's for the upcoming komplete fanatic tourny run in melbourne by GW.
it is:
Deathmaster stab-stab (master assassin, weeping blades, bands of power, warpstone amulet, smoke bombs)

Apprentice saxon (assassin, smoke bombs, warpstone stars)

sorcerer squeeker (lvl 2, warpstorm scroll)

sorcerer snitchy (lvl 2, 2 x scrolls)

7 x 10 night runners - 2hw, throwing stars

4 rat swarms

5 guntter runner tunnelling team - posion hw

2 x 6 gutter runners - poison HW, poison throwing stars

eshin triad

comes to 2242 points. I laboured long and hard about what to give the master assassin, the fellblade or the current combo. I went this version because I felt, knowing my luck, he would kill himself with the fellblade, the 4+ws will give him a bit of survivability if he doesn't kill his target first turn, and the bands of power to give him that important S increase, also to give my opponents something else to have to dispell and therefore leave more romm for some skitterleap action.
Unfortunately I can't change the list as it's already been sent, but I would be interested to get other peoples opinions.

for band of power, wouldnt it be too easy to dispell in eshin army, since we dont have that many spell (well only skitterleap <_< )
Average dispell dice pool of this size army will be 3-4 (more in other army), then isnt hard to get the spell or the item working?

I don't think so, I've got 2 spells that I can role 3 dice for, plus I can choose to munch a warpstone token (so maybe 4) I also have the bands which will require at least one dice (possibly 2 depnding on the opponent) and the warpstone scroll (probably requiring 2 dice)
now as you say around 4 dispell dice is probably realistic (although 5 - 6 is more common with the guys I play)
if my opponent has to use his dice to stop the bands, then that leaves only 3 to stop 2 skitterleap attempts - so maybe a scroll gets used.
If skitterleap goes off, my assassins target the mages, then I have free magic reign. If my opponent has any flying things - characters, pegasus, terradons, eagles etc, then he also has to worry about a power lvl 5 warpstorm scroll.
I believe that the bands add an extra something for my opponent to worry about, the joy of the BOP are that when they are active they last untill my next magic phase which means I get 2 turns of combat with 4 S9 D3 wounds attacks, I reckon I'll have a reasonable chance of killing what I'm targetting.

For me I switched one triad for a squad of 10 PWGs. They work so good against brettonian knights that I almost wanted to take a whole army of them.

An example; A unit of 12 grail knights, (well, 11 with a maiden) got the over-run after slaughtering a unit of 5 night runners. (used as bait) The PWGs were there waiting. All 10 threw, 8 hits and 6 wounds :D The 6+ ward save failed and half his unit died. They did not have to take a panic tes because of some vow. Next turn he tries to charge a unit of night runners and fails as they fled. On my half of the turn I get a IR skitterleap, in goes the master assasin, and he is supported by a unit of gutter runners. The MA kills two and the gutter runners kill one. with kills and outnumber win the combat by 3 (I had flank, 3 kills and outnumber, he had a rank and a banner) He rolled a 12 and a reroll of 11 for the BSB, and a 4 for flee roll. I rolled a 8 wiping him out capturing his BSB, (banner of the lady) and his regular standard and killing one of his ladies.

Had the PWGs not done a good job of thinning them out I would not have been able to take on such a tough unit. So I now keep my 10 PWGs as a permanent unit of my army.
