Well today I had my first battle against my friend who plays dwarves. My Army: 2 x 6 NRs + 2hw + slings 2 x 4 GRs + Poisoned Stars Eshin Triad + Smokebombs Assasin + Smokebombs + Warpstone Stars Enemy Army: 16 Slayers Daemon Slayer Dragon Slayer Well I knew from the start I didn't want to engage any of his troops in close combat. Even though the slayers don't have armor, they would likely chew through a lot of my troops so I decided to take advantage of their low movement and stay out of thier charge range while pestering them with stones and stars. My assasin was the star of the day with his Warpstone stars. Within the first 3 turns I had managed to avoid all close combat and the warpstone stars had killed his Daemonslayer and Dragonslayer! The gutter runners took out a lot of slayers with those poisoned stars since my luck was good and I rolled sixes quite often. The triad didn't do too much at range so I brought it into close combat where it was devastating mopping up the remaining slayers with it's charge it didn't even give them time to react. The slings on the nightrunners were ok I guess however they really didn't do much damage killing 1 slayer. His slayers are unbreakable so I had to kill every damnable last one. but in the end the day was ours and the skaven, suffering a grand total of 0 wounds MASSACRED those silly dwarves! |

yes under the cover of darkness does as it effects everyone, you should have taken the master assassin thoguh and just sat back with the rest of the army and let the carnage start. |
