Does anybody use the lead from the back advantage for Skaven? I see where it is beneficial for a BSB, but why or when would you use it for other characters? Maybe after a rejected challenge? Or if your character isn't equipped with good magic weapons\armor? I would like to read about your tactical thoughts on this advantage. |

it's useful against hochland long rifles (they can see the unit but not the character). again, its useful for a bsb, and also master moulders.

and very useful it is too when charged by a large unit of angry knights. Plus even if he leaves the regiment for a gettaway if the unit is broken he doesnt go with them.

He can't have any other wargear if he's using the Army battle standard rule. At least i think he can't. |

He can wear armor, but can't have a shield, extra hand weapon, halberd, great weapon (you get the idea ). He can have magic weapons or items, however if he has a magic banner he can't have any other magic items (regardless of cost).

really? damn, that means he'll be going at the back then, not having bsb with magic banner and no shield in the front rank, that'd be just plain dumb..

The Burninator (middenheim faction)

in my 2000 point army I plan on having a fraidy-cat warlord. He'll just hang on in the back with warpstonearmor, foul pendant and enchanted shield (muahahahahI'm a rat with a 1+ armor save in cc!!). Although he can be a combat beast, I REALLY need the ld, and would not have him die.
