my friend matt recently started a night goblin horde... it seems pretty good, id go for that. orc magic items are a bit odd, though. the good kind of odd. for 25 points one lets you steal a dispel dice of ur opponents to add a power dice, and one lets you double-cast a spell in the same phase. the troops are fine, and i love fanatics (or hate, depends if im facing them or not). Squigs are just plain funny. you should go for the gobbos. EDIT: take lots of fanatics, as many rock lobbas as you can take! |

A lot depends on what you want to play? Do you want an unpredictible army that may or may not self destruct? Do you want to spend 20 minutes in each movement phase moving fanatics? Personally I'd go for the pesant Army over the Gobos. I have yet to see a pesant horde on the table, and I think that it would be really cool! |

how come gobbos get superior troops for the same points? i know they get animosity, but COME ON 2points for a Ld6 model?!?!?!? i know we get superior movement, and strength in numbers, but i just don't think that's fair....(especially 5 point orcs....) oh well, i needed to say that.. |

it's especially great when your PM's hit gobbos on 3+'s yeah, O&G magic and shooting is MEAN +1 power and dispell for each gobbo US20 in combat. Lets not forget 35 point bolt throwers sweet mercy! in 1000 points you can field 6! (2per special choice) |
