Well, after seeing the new eshin list I became obsessed with Skaven, and now I'm on my to collect a healty 1000 pts of them, just finished a Skaven online blood bowl team, and I'm also thinking about Warmaster. However, since my only regular opponent likes Mordheim better than Warmaster, I thought: ah well, the're already eshin models in the basis box, so why not give it a shot?

Now, as he will play with empire, I wonder if you got some tips/lists/tactics/hints/cakes for me? Any of them would really be appreciated.

Regards in advance.

Ajax = warpstone juice

skaven mordheim list is all about numbers, skip the rat orge. go full out heros this way... even if they die you still get a good number of rolls and besides if they all live and you win the game thats like 7 dice when you search the ruins.

asap get some rabbits feet if you need to kill someone off and roll badly to wound its a good use. otherwise it works well when searching the ruins for warpstone.

normal rats are suprisingly powerful... i have had a rat take down a fully equiped balck skaven and for 15pts they are very good for your money. take all the heroes to start with (even night runners) as the money at the end of the game increases a lot.

Full heroes (or at least 5) and mucho mucho verminkin... giant rats might be usefull against marienburg and / or reikland which are horrible shooty.

My opponent currently has:

19 spearmen
16 handgunners
1 cannon
1 wizard

and he'll get whatever is in the starting box.

Other than that, he's not planning on buying something else.

Thanks a lot for all comments so far.

he will only be able to use a little from what he has allready, maybe the wizard as a warlock and a few spearmen but apart from that hell have to use what you get in the mordheim box (which is enough for a decent warband)

Here's what I got:

19 Night Runners
1 Rat Swarm
2 chieftains
20 clanrats
1 ratling gun
1 rat Ogre

+ whatever comes with the box.

So,
you can dump the swarm and the ratling for sure.

You can use the night runners + clanrats to create a more "vertile" mix of Eshin wyrdstone hunters (believe me, it's fun!) and I would only use the rat ogre waaaaaay later. Chieftains could be good heroes.

www.blood-bowl.net
www.talkbloodbowl.com is also a good one

Both of these should be good enough...

Actually, it was here where I did that. Though you need to download some things, it's quite funny.

So as much heroes as possible (can convert them anyway) and a mixture of clanrats and night runners...what are wyrdstone hunters if I may ask?

Clan Eshin wyrdstone hunters... you DO have the rulebook, right?

Clanrats and nightrunners convert-work = verminkin
same goes for your heroes mostly, only convert them a bit more... :D

Take the max heros for after the game.
Giant rats will just make you bolt that much faster when they get taken out.
Stars for the characters (st. as user)
Slings for the verminkin (st.3)
weeping blades are nice and tail fighting is VERY useful as an upgrade.
