Just had another picture of the mole thing I had to show...

And for the full frontal shot of the nasty teeth

This has got me thinking, that would be an awesome look for skaven character. Perhaps a conversion is in order...

the ONLY thing I miss (and that's a big word for a complete and fluffy/fun army like the Skaven army) is the Black Arc. And that's just because I've been wondering about it and intrigued by it since I bought the 5th edition Armybook.

It was mentioned in I think 3 sentences.. and thats it; the mightiest weapon ever. That's just a darn shame.

I agree there should be some kind of monster a Master Moulder can ride on.
The Giant-Mole rat (also mentioned in other topics) should also be made.
It also bothers me that there no models for a Master Moulder, Chieftain and Plague Priest.

Can't we all send emails to an Email-adress, so important people of GW know that we want these models?

Rattsu you're brilliant!

*breaks out the skavenade*

Really?

*grins*

On another note...

Yeah, seriously... I want this thing! I thought it was silly when I heard the rumours of the mole rat, but the more I think about it, a giant tunnel chomping beast makes sense.

Just has to find something nice to base it around. *ponders* Sounds like a trip to the toy store is in order...

I think that Pestilens should have at least one shooty choice, i'm tired of all my opponents laughing at me when I say "the only thing i have is close combat"

Also i like that explody guy thing, i just made up a unit here

I don't think we need a giant beasty... but definitely need to make the Rat Ogres more fighty instead of flighty (even in a skaven army, these guys "fly".

I'd like to at least see them with S6. So they could possibly do something useful. A T5 would be awesome... make them 65pt.s I'd pay for 3 all the time.
===============

I found some AWESOME models of rats riding giant rats on eBay... but the auction eneded yesterday (Friday). Bummer, cause I wanted to bid (but forgot to do so at the right moment).

Some interesting cavalry would be fun, but I don't need it. The current list is fine, just make some units stronger for their points. Rat Ogres and Rat Swarms especially;

Rat Swarms= Tomb Swarms...

>Tomb Swarms have tunneling, poison, "swarm", small, unbreakable... for 65 pts. (same statline for both).

>Rat Swarms DO NOT have poison and cannot tunnel. They're 20 pts. less....

>Rat Swarms have to pay 20 pts. per base for poison. Tomb Swarms are 20 pts. more but have tunneling in addition.

I'd want Rat Swarms to be able to get poison for like 10 pts. Or give them some other ability... but make them REALLY useful... like the tomb swarms (tunneling swarms!)....
When you think everything is going your way- some little snot-nosed brat gets in the way and ruins your day. This little punk does something so simple that completely destroys any chance of you having a good year. This SoB didn't even know that their actions would have such an abysmal impact upon your life. Geez, some people are so insensitive.

Now I have to get my car repaired.

tomb swarms also have a 5+ save. <_<

I think RO should be stuborn. to illistrate how dumb they are, and their bloodlust. I duno, the image of giant mutant rat killing monsters running away is kinda wierd to say the least.

But doesn't the tombswarms suffer from the usual undead instability thing? That makes them really bad at doing the usual swarm stuff, ie being unbreakable and holding up really nasty units.

Our local tomb king player sure wishes he had rat swarms, but I'm no expert on the army. He could be wrong.

---

But I do agree that the rat ogres should be better. Now they are hardly ever used, which is a shame, 'cause I love the models.

It is the fact that they can't have weapons like minotaurs I guess. They should have an attack more to represent their two claws at least...

And I still want my mole rat.,..
