Well, what do you miss in the Skaven Army?

I think there should be a suicide unit that blows itself up. He has to move pretty fast, so he could run to a enemy unit in no-time. He carries some kind of bombpack on his back. He runs to the enemy and blows himself up. He has to be an special unit with a cost of 30 pts (or something).

Well, post you ideas. ;)

Isn't this called the Warpfire Thrower? :D

I miss the fact that Clan Moulder doesn't have enough stuff. They need a rare choice (cav or flyers would be cool, even if they aren't skaveny).
Go forth my brethren, that we shall nibble at the roots of the old world!

We are the rats in the shadows. We hold the blades of corruption, aimed at the very heart of the Old World. We are The Council of Thirteen.

Second place in the UnderEmpire painting competition!

the army is pretty much well-rounded out as it is, but giant rat cavalry would be too cool :P

i would go for the mutator beast we are creating in the Moulder section of this forum.. indeed Moulder needs a rare choice! It's the only skaven army now who lacks variety actually

no cav no flyers but a big mutation blob of the deep depths of Hell pitt were it was thrown as a failed experiment but survived and grew stronger...

variable mutation that have to be rolled at the start of the battle...

or you can buy them as options...

too much coolness (where did i hear that before <_< )

I feel the only things we're missing are rare units for Eshin and Moulder. Maybe they should count tunnel teams as a sperate rare choice (instead of gutter runners) but either decrease the points by one or two. That, or put triads in but increase the cost for non-eshin armies. For moulder, again with the large skaven monstrous creatures.

A creature which pursues 3D6 is high on my wish list.

Otherwise I would settle for the Mutant Mole-rat (refer Moulder subforum) and customisable rat ogre and giant rat options (pay for +1 S, +1 A, +1 M, scaly skin save etc)...
Mostly harmless

I miss the old assassins we used to have in the last edition. They were really only glorified gutter runners, but they were cheap, had Weeping Blades and you could put two of them in each unit of Clanrats, Stormvermin and Gutter Runners. In fact, the same with Globadiers (putting them near units in the same manner as weapon teams, that is, not having Weeping Blades). I think the army had a slightly more Skaven feel when you had all these models grouped around units...

oh yes... those 200 clanrat-big units... the joy in only deployment of those things. Yeah, I guess that the use of these "sub"-units were much more Skaven. Assassins jumping from asides were superb...

Moulder stuff!

I have always fancied cnal moulder, but unfortunately my rat ogres can't fight themselves out of a paper bag.

I would love to see moulder monstrosities driven forth by beastmasters, why can't we have something like the hydra? Except for being rat based of course...

Cavalry and chariots and flyers doesn't really fit it, but one monster wouldn't be too bad now, would it? *ponders* Except of course you'd need a bugger of a tunnel to avoid it getting stuck. *laughs*

Maybe some huge tunnel gnawing thing? A bit like those african naked rats that live down in tunnels:

Aint they cute?

It could be huge enough so that one of them could gnaw a tunnel on their own. Did you know that they have muscles so they actually can move their lower teeth independantly like forceps?

Now that's a monster.
I am currently writing an epic Dragon Age 2 adventure that can be found HERE!! or on my deviantart.
