Gimme slings any day. If you manuever your forces well, you can be outside of charge range and pelt *pun intended* the enemy with massive numbers of rocks. I managed to take out a unit of Nurgle chaos warriors that way. I stayed just out of range and used the 2 shots to work 'em down to nothing. I prefer to play the numbers with big units of night runners and large numbers of slings. If you use cover you can do some HORRENDOUS damage to expensive but small units like knights or even demons. |

I think that throwing stars are best in most situations. No -1 hit for moving works well with fast/skirmishers/360 LOS. A unit of slings would be good in an Eshin army though,since you'll probaby have alot of Nightrunner units. |
