Do you accually care if you misfire? Do you get all mad, or at the least annoyed? Personal I look forward to it some times. Its great when my ratting turns and blast up my slaves, or worse. Also What was the worst and best misfire you have ever had? Worst was with my warp lightening cannon first turn of the game. I got the farthest and strongest shot, strait through all my troops, killing my lone mage, cause half of my army to run off the board. Needless to say, I got masicared, But it was so funny though. The best, Was my WFT misfiring running 2d6 into my vampire counts friend nerco general, Killing him, cause the rest of the army to crumble. Thnx for your time. |

Well... I don't remember any, erm, memorable misfires, but once my friend and I were playing this scenario we came up with, which dealt with huge cliffs and canyons and such. Anyway, my warplightning cannon was charged, and of course had to flee... And they ran straight off a cliff and slplattered against the rocks below... 'Twas very funny. XD But in general, I don't care if I get a misfire. Sometimes a misfire can be a GOOD thing... Umm... I think? |

Maybe the question is when it happens , if it happens to me in a normal battle i mostly dont care unless all my shooting misfires , in tournaments i never like the fact of seeing ur plague monks being ripped a part by ur randomized shooting ratling |

i don't like misfires because allmost everytime they just disappear in a greenish cloud of smoke. the most memerable was when my one RG turned directly to the other RG and shot them to smitherines... my opponent laughed his hart out.. (undead) |

I think that, under normal circumstances, anyone who dislikes misfires should play another race. Skaven (particularly skryre) are all about the misfires. Sure, if the dice turn against you it can be frustrating, but if it really bothers you...switch to TK. Just my opinion. |

The majority of the time misfires don't bother me at all. In fact, Im usually the one who enjoys them the most but from time to time I'll have one of those games where almost every die roll I get is bad and those can be frustrating. The most rescent entertaining misfire was when a WFT that was placed to closely to a big unit of clanrats and a warlock engineer blew itself up and destroyed almost the entire unit. They panicked and fled almost off the table. The Mad Ratter

I find it's fun to complain that clan Skryre ripped me off, or intentionally betrayed me when things go that badly. I even once sacrificed my Warlock Engineer in a suicide mission when things went badly. The mission was a success, by the way (the WE died ).

I ones happened to stand by the dwarves (it was a battle with for batteling armies) cannons (the had occupied the nearest hill, wich was the best shootingpoint to face the common enemy that rushed to annihilate both skaven and dwarves). I got the missfire were you use a template and killed of one or two of the dwarf-players cannons..

I care a litte when I missfire, because I have so little shooting that every bullet counts. Although it's great when EVERYTHING'S working for me and then by the end of the battle, I'll try to make my things blow up I think my most memorable missfire to date, was when my RG rolled double 4, spun around and hit it's intented target

I did that! Only it was a six, followed by a double 4.

I still like the WFT better, though. I may even name it "The Burninator".

lol I was playing another skaven player, one time, my WFT misfired and ran into his WFT, I killed his, but a one was rolled to wound mine. worst was when my Rattling gun spun around into my 200 point jazail unit, killing 8(the remaining 2 ran off the feild).
