I played an empire army who had more than one of the generic magic items. Now I know you can have more than one dispell sroll or power stone. But can you have more than one war banner or enchanted shield or sword of might etc. etc.? |

Nope. These are "Common Magic Items" in that they are available to every army list, not so common that you can have more than 1 in your army. Power stones and (dispel) scrolls are specifically mentioned as allowing you to take more than 1. |

I'm just wondering if you or your opponent bring the same common magic items, does that count as multiple, and would one of you have to change one of them so the rules are satisfied? Sorry for the bad english |

No, you and your opponent can have the same common magic items, but 2 characters in YOUR army would not be allowed the same item.
Wow, just when i thought it couldnt get any lower... |
