Played silence the watchtower, last evening, vs lizards.

I took:
Plague priest, censer
13 monks, extra weapon, champion

He had:
4 saurus with champion
6 skinks

At the first rays of the sun, as the fog was still heavy in the air, Plague priest Belch and his scouting party came in view of a lone watchtower. Before the fog lifted, he chose to attack the watchtower, still standing defiantly after all this time of war, watching for the safety of Zundap. As he crept in the bushes, he saw a big reptilian warrior, lost in his thoughts near the sole wooden door of the tower. It's stupid, he thought, why would only 1 saurus would guard a tower alone. Maybe if i race fast enough, i can take the tower and burn it before that saurus can give the alarm by ringing out the bell atop of it.

Priest Belch gave a few silent signs with his paw, and raced toward the door, ending very near it, with some of his men near. The rest of his monks guarded their flank. Suddenly, realizing the situation, the big warrior emitted a strange sound and charged him. The champion, still numb, did not get far. The foul fumes that the holy censer emitted choked him before he could even reach him. He then saw 5 little lizards run quickly past him and enter the tower. He heard a monk fall behind him, poisonned by many stings. On his right, a fight erupted. 3 saurus warriors charged his men. The first saurus attacked the monk champion, but missed him. The monk counter-attacked, and 1 strike got past the scaly skin of his opponent and he fell, dead. The 2 other monks weren't so lucky and were beaten.

Happy of the distraction, Belch charged the door, pulverizating it. His champion and some other warriors followed him, ready to enter the tower with him, but small needles rained from above, and his champion and a monk fell from the poison. 3 monks charged on each saurus, swarming them and killing them both. Plague priest Belch, seeing the monks resolve wavering, shouted warnings and threats, and his troops renewed their atacks.

Belch and the 2 monks in the door charged 3 skinks atop the tower. As his skink fell from the censer gas, he was wounded by a poison shot from the leftover skinks, hidden in a corner. The 2 other skinks were quiclky cut down. On the outside, the monks performed a ritual sacrificial offering by offering the saurus' souls to the Horned rat.

Belch didn't even got a chanc to kill some of those lizards, as his fog again felled a skink, and his other 2 warriors killed the 2 last.

In that dense fog, all the people of Zundap who were listening could hear was a little crakling, like a small camp fire, and continued their lives, unaware of the plague that would come soon.
