Assassins can't use warp stone counters...and the warpstone stars are very nifty. |

depends what your assasin is for. if you want him to attack the enemy from a distance then warpstone stars are a very good choice. For Combat weeping blade is the only choice |

For my 2000 point army i have the following characters; Master Assassin Vicous, with the fellblade and a tailsman of protection. Assassin QuickKill, with warpstone stars. Eshin sorceror Snitch, with eye of the horned rat and dispel scroll. Eshin sorceror Snatch, with dispel scroll. This combination works very well for me in my SoC battles as i have managed to assassinate every enemy general i have played. However taking the fellBlade is risky as it may take the assassin's life (typical for skaven <_< ) --- Eshin Adept --- |

If your luck is bad, don't use a fell blade. For example, my luck is horrible, and I never take anything like that. (Warpstone 4+ward save thing, Fell blade..) |

my luck with the fellblade sucks too but my assassin mostly gets his job done within 3 turns and I find it kinda funny when he's dying to the fellblade......again .

I took the brass orb once against lizard men It hit perfectly No misfire I then needed a 3+ to kill the 235 pt Stegadon I rolled a 1! Doh! Doh! Doh! Typically Skaven though! The Stego then went down to a flank charge by the gutter runners! |

Well, if you want to take out an enemy wizard on the first turn by skitterleaping, give him the warpstone stars, if hes for character killing in regiments, weeping blades, and if hes just to kill rank and file troops, take the bands of power and an AHW. :ph43r: |

Why would you need to roll a 3+? Your opponent has to take the Initative Test..... |
| ONLY 3 TENTACLES.....add more warpstone. | |

Brass orb is for sorcerors. you want to give warpstone stars or weeping blade to assasins. When your assasins are all out kicking but then your sorceror skitterleaps of and lands a brass orb in the middle of the opponents elite unit. then just hope you get lucky. |

Actually I was wrong. Using the gouger against heavy armoured units is devestating. an assasin using gouger with some NRs can take on elite troops |
