@Rubmano: We could argue our points for days, the thing is, is that it's just a matter of playing style. Ours are different.

@Kill-Kill: I hate the old moddles with a passion.

@Kill-Kill's sig: SKAVENAID! (you forgot it)
U.S. taxpayer cost of the Iraq War: $250,279,000,000
Thats about $150,000 a minute, ten million dollars every hour, and 250 million dollars a day!

I Think in a 750 point battle 10 of them are invaluble! Broke a unit of 5 knightly Orders with my warlock engeier in them( alas the warp lightning addict was cut down in a challenge by the champion)

i like the old models MUCH more. there's only 1 pose for the new ones i've seen and it looks boring and repetitive. the old ones have more character and individuality.

I find the Stormvermin are invaluable in a couple of ways. 1) Make a rather large block of them with sheilds and the Army battle standard (in the back of course) Sacred Standard of the horned rat. With a 3+ save, outnumbering bonus, full ranks, and a standard you can often auto break smaller stronger units that are hard to kill ( dwarves and elves ) . The other way they are so very useful is just as a semisacraficial beating magnet. Whoever I play seems to think they have to direct everything they've got at the unit allowing the rest of the army to get to the battle lines fairly unscathed.

True, my Bretonnian opponent (my Bro) thinks they're the mightiest thing in the Skaven army. So his bowmen and knights tend to stomp the little black rodents into the ground, while the rest of my units are lined up for the most rear/flank charges I can get. Trust me- he hates it when I win... I win almost all the time.
When you think everything is going your way- some little snot-nosed brat gets in the way and ruins your day. This little punk does something so simple that completely destroys any chance of you having a good year. This SoB didn't even know that their actions would have such an abysmal impact upon your life. Geez, some people are so insensitive.

Now I have to get my car repaired.
