Fly High Tails Fans!
|
SEGA today announced that Sonic 4 is well into development now for the Wii, PS3 and the 360, and they have revealed they have been listening to the fans feedback about the game, from both officially released info and info that was "leaked" which I can't talk about here. While the reactions have mostly been positive, not everyone is happy. With that in mind, SEGA has decided to take some of the fans suggestions and other feedback within SEGA to make the game even better for the fans. Sonic 4 Episode 1 has been delayed to the 2nd half of 2010 in order to allow for this additional development time. With that aside, today we can confirm that the mystery 4th platform for Sonic 4 is iPhone OS and the game will run on all iPhone OS devices. Finally, the game will be on Gamespot's On the Spot show today at 7PM Eastern Time, you don't want to miss this episode as it has a new gameplay trailer! UPDATE: I just watched on the spot, they said they are working on the physics and level designs to make the game feel more like a older Sonic game. In addition, there will be 2 levels on the iPhone version that you won't be able to see on the other platforms that take advantage of the iPhone touch and tilt controls.
