Okay...as we should of all noticed, the forum is lacking any major activity. With a highest simultainious user count of only 7, TTR has fallen in the leeway. We should really advertise this place better, so that more people visit so it's busier, so that more things happen and there is a reason for old members to return! I suggest making more topics and advertising TTR on social networking groups such as Bebo, FaceBook, MySpace and more, to attract users! It's not that I'm mad about this place, I just think forums ike this should be more active and interesting. I hope everyone agrees! |

We did mention this quite a bit in a topic here. However, I have to agree that little has been done thus far to actually improve activity. A suggestion I would make is that we advertise ourselves not straight away by Facebook, Myspace...let's try and get the word out among actual other Sonic forums, or heck, even Sega ones! The important thing is that we do not promote activity quickly, and make it a big rush which the staff team will no doubt have trouble keeping it up with. I'm not saying they're bad, far from it, the staff here does a wonderful job, but having five new members a day or something crazy like that would be hectic, and that's considering none of them would be trolls or the like. Let's build it up gradually, one step at a time, instead of rushing into things. Like Matty said there, new members are great, but we need to hunt down the old ones. Soooooooooooo... I wonder if any of you have actually heard of a place called Two Tailed Paradise? It's another Tails fansite which I joined two years ago. We don't have many members, but we get by. Buuuuuut... I noticed at least two members from that site came here (Naoko and Blacky C) and I ALSO noticed a few TTR posters went there...but it seems the two sites haven't had much link for the past year. :/ But both of us are in activity slumps, so it would be a neat way of helping each other out, even if it's just a little. TTR needs old members. TTP needs old members. (Or new for either, activity is good either way!) So let's help each other out. I can notify TTP and see if we can come to a sort of agreement to help each other out.  Just a thought, anyway. Edited by Ulala, Jun 16 2009, 09:50 PM.

old members would be nice and new members are always welcome. but i think ulala is right when she says not to advertise on the big sites first. i asked 2 of my irl friends to come and join which they did ... but they barely ever post. if anyone has any of their own sites (you know like their own board or maybe a google made site) they could adveratise there. i think the important thing is that we dont make ourselves TOO well known cuz then trolls like my brother will find the site. |

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll make sure we take a look at them after we put other proposed changes in place. Right now there is a slight delay in getting some of the proposed changes in place due to Real Life events for one of the staff members, but rest assured that we will be able to consider your suggestions. *Topic Moved to Suggestions* |

SO, some people were laughing at me, and told me to join some place called "Fur affinity" since i was a tails fan, and they werent nice people mind you, so...I did, and they seem like a nice lot who like my art, though i dont always agree with everything i see. anyway. maybe i'll start posting some TTR banners down there and drag some of them over here with us! the more tails fans that can find a home the better! |
