ASR Demo Released on Xbox 360, full character list revealed

Those of you on Xbox 360's better get to the Marketplace, an ASR demo was released this morning! You can also purchase a ASR theme for your NXE interface as well.

The ASR web site also released the full character list for the game as well as the karts the characters are using:

Unforetinutly, Tails got knocked out of the GameFAQ's Character Battle in the first round...

Sonic and Knuckles will face each other in the 2nd round, so only 1 Sonic character will move on to the 3rd round.

Needlemouse Challenege Sucess!

SEGA revealed today they got over 350 badnik artwork pieces and the Needlemouse challenge has been met and greatly exceeded. If fans keep sending in the concept art and SEGA will add prizes to a special prize give away on "Hedgehog day" (forgive the pun) on Feb 2nd as part of "The Week of the Hedgehog" which will culminate with major Needlemouse announcement.

Did any of you send a badnik concept art piece in? Show us in the main forum topic for this news!

FIRST on TTR: Needlemouse Challenge 2: This one is for artists

SEGA is calling on the fan community to another Needlemouse challenge! This time they want fan artists to send in drawings in concept art style of their favorite badniks from the Genesis Era. If 100 people send in art by Monday at 10:00AM PST, SEGA will announce the official name of Project Needlemouse as well as release concept art of the first zone, and maybe 1 other thing.

For now they did release the concept art show below as well as this statement:

PSU Online for PC/PS2 closing

SEGA announced today that the Online portions of the PC and PS2 versions of Phantasy Star Universe will be closing on March 31st 2010. The Xbox 360 version will be unaffected. All PSU members using the PC or PS2 versions that have a subscription as of tomorrow will have free access until closing.

By only 3000 votes, Knuckles won his poll and will face Sonic in the 2nd round! Who will win this obvious classic battle?

The votes I really want to see are votes for TAILS, he will be up on Feb 1st in the Morning, facing Kratos.
