Chaos Member Ω Posts: 393 Group: Members Member #3,660 Joined: January 8, 2009	well, first of all I made this topic to get more posts cuz all other topics are dead or no one is posting there. so, I kinda like that game. however some people play it too much so I hate it. favorite Heroes: Dwarven Sniper, Keeper of the light, Dark seer, Chaos knight, Axe, Invoker (hell yeah), tauren chieftain, Centaur warchief, Zeus, Vengeful Spirit, Ursa Warrior, Pit Lord, Slardar, Necrolyte and Blood Seeker. My VERY FIRST hero, and the one that I mastered is Dwarven sniper. I'm also good as Invoker, Keeper of th Light and Tauren Chieftain. Items that I usually buy if I'm playing 1 on 1 game for Sniper: - 2 wraith bands - Crystalys - Headress ( HP regen aura) - ring of Basilius ( mana regen aura) these are the starting Items, they add up to 53 dmg (for 100+ with base dmg) then I get enough money for "Lothar's Edge" (wind walk FTW) and then get him a blood stone for health and regen (both mana and HP) then I would buy Stygian Desolator followed with Assault Cuirass (the game usually ends without getting these last 2). this is the best thing I came up with until now with this guy, but he can't take some agility and strength heroes. also, I think that Blood seeker is the best ally for him, if its over 2 on 2, then they should be on the same lane. because if the enemy was running away, he will be forced to stop because of rupture, and when he does he will be an easy target for Sniper's assassination ability. so, If you play this game say anything you know about it; strategies, favorite heroes, best items with specific heroes, .... etc. Edited by Death Angel, Oct 16 2009, 12:33 PM.

Junior Member Posts: 19 Group: Members Member #4,602 Joined: September 27, 2009	i lol'd If you play a Sniper (Especially Sniper) in 1x1 you dont buy Headress&Basilius, isntead you buy perserverance, which you disassemble into a ring of health and void stone again to make a Vanguard out of the Ring and use Void for some other item like guinsoo. A good way is to make Orchid&Lothar too, especially since orchid provides silence,dps and nice manareg, flow that Orchid&Lothar into a Buriza+Butterfly combo, with a Helm of Dominator inbetween (Lifesteal owns 1x1, but rather in lategame than early) and a good pair of Treads/Travelers. If you dont play CW/League, forget bout guinsoo, just buy your DPS items and get owned by 3-4 Nukes, its pub, nobody cares.

Chaos Member Ω Posts: 393 Group: Members Member #3,660 Joined: January 8, 2009	perseverance looks much better than headress and Basilius, but I know about lothar's edge. and for me it depends; if I'm playing against someone who likes to have lots of armor I'd buy what I said (cuirass and desolator) they add up to -11 armor. but if I'm playing against someone who likes to have lots of HP I continue my Crystalys into Buriza and then I might buy butterfly (butterfly is expensive, so most games ends before getting it). I wouldn't really care about having lots of mana, because I save the scatter shot till the end (I use take aim and headshot before) so I would only need mana for assassination, and then blood stone can cover mana needs later on. can you say which your favorite hero is and how you play him?

Junior Member Posts: 19 Group: Members Member #4,602 Joined: September 27, 2009	well i play nearly every hero very well so i dont favouritize, but lets say if i go pubs, and want to make newbies seriously cry, i take some Inviser, Gondar&Rikimaru are my picks (sometimes anubseran), Pub Lowbobs usually never buy wards. Not much to say about the strategy, you stack up some hp so that you wont be overthrown by a Zeus Nuke chain and just rape out of invis. I'll mention, most important thing is early game, i usually go with a RoR and a Stack of Branches, hp regen and +4 to all Stats. Somewhat about 9th-15th minutes i either get Helm of Dominator (Pubstomp with Lifesteal, also +20 Damage) or start building top tier items. Edited by Bladerush, Oct 25 2009, 04:18 AM.
