With TGS going on, the new game, Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star gets a trailer. Watch it below. Subtitles courtesy to The Megaman Network. Now what do you think? It looks like an interesting twist on the game. With another collect-the-stars minigame only available in local play. There is some voice acting and music remixes here and there. And it seems like SSMegaman can be fought, too. Graphically, the game is nearly identical. But there could still be something not known here. |

That star collecting game looks fun. I assume you haven't yet acquired information on whether SS Rockman's sprites are in the same format as the old games? |

Nope. But it seems very likely that the format is the same judging by the copyright date. Rips and hacks will be coming out probably as soon as the game comes out. |

As it's been said already, it's more of a re-release with added features. It looks good to me although I've never played MMBN1 so I can't give good judgment. I'm really surprised at the fact that they kept the 3D background for areas and in battle. It always looked bad to me when I saw it and I'm surprised they kept it. And, they added voice acting. That's incredible. I never thought they'd do that because it just seems to stray from the series. I could see it working out though, especially if they did it similar to the Megaman Zero X with only minor snippets during or preceding a big battle. Edited by Lv.99, Sep 29 2009, 01:12 PM.
