Show me your opinion about armor in MMX series

About me, i think the best armour is Falcon in X5 and the worst is Falcon in X6 ( all signature feature of its is thrown away, how sad), Ultimate is the most powerful and it makes the game a little bit too easy.

It can barely fly, its like the fourth armor in MMX5. The Ultimate Armors should of course be the best especially in MMX8. But its super hard to unlock the Ultimate Armor in MMX8. I used a trainer to get the armor.

It gave us invincibility during flight and crap. The Gaia and Shadow armor had wall sticking and powerful busters. Immunity to spikes was a big plus. And in X6, Alia and all the other idiots at Maverick Hunter HQ saw it fit to screw the armor over and add weights/thin the armor out to the point where it had almost zero defense Good job Maverick Hunters HQ. You have proved your worth in uselessness and provided some blondie interrupt the mission every 5 seconds to point out the obvious.

Killer Member Posts: 74 Group: Members Member #576 Joined: May 27, 2007	Best:Golden Armor MMX3 As broken as it may have been you had to work somewhat hard for this armor even if it was near the end of the game.The buster was my favorite one in the whole series and the abilities were great. Worst: Falcon Armor(X6) and Icarus(X8) There is no wonder why you begin the game with this armor... This armor was watered down badly. The flight was shorter than usual and the buster is not as effective as it used to be in X5. I did not like the armors in X8 very much especially Icarus. I was actually expecting something a bit more than a laser beam for Icarus' buster and a bit more interesting abilities. I have to be honest when I say I like Neutral Armor better even though that was the armor you could mix abilities with or play without added armor parts. I only liked the fact that you could charge your special weapons like you normally do in a MMX game.

I agree with both of you about falcon armor in X6. in X8 I found the armors kind of broken, no need to talk about the ultimate armor. but the others is because of the charged attack of other special weapons, by that I mean Crystal wall weapon.

Huh? whyis ultimate armour super hard to unlock? i think it's quite an easy one, much easier than black zero or white axl, i have never had to use trainer to get it in X8 And yes, i love using Icarus armor, even though its charged buster is bad, its Giga impact is really cool Edited by lavenderbolt, Oct 5 2009, 07:56 AM.

Arms: upgrades buster by 1 charge level legs: increased jump hieght (some rare metals can only be obtained by this) helmet: acts like X1 helmet, but can hurt enemies armor: reduces damage by 50% and saves all lost energy for recovery back on topic Best: Ultimate Armor (X4,5,6, and 8) I never played X7, but the ultimate armor is great throughout the series. Sure, X8 made a cooldown for the nova, but it also included: increased jump, infinate special weapon ammo, shoyuken, shadow dash (for some reason, u still take damage from dashing through enemies), and plasma shot. Worst: I think we all know Falcon Armor (X6) not only can it not fly, they took away the piercing shot. in X5 the charge shot of the falcon armor, could even penetrate shields, but, alas, it did lack offence. the only good thing about X6 falcon armor, is the air dash

Only one time i succeeded in using it to get to Sigma since i always fell into the hole before that. (and gaea armor looks not very beautiful ) Well, you know, everything should be in balance, Falcon is good at going through stages and Gaea is at challenging bosses.
