Capcom announces new Rockman EXE game

Hacking Guides Author Posts: 3,979 Group: Hacking Guide Author Member #5 Joined: August 13, 2006	At the World Hobby Fair in Japan this weekend, Capcom formally announced the latest Rockman EXE title in the works. The game is called Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star. The game will be for the Nintendo DS and may be released during the winter this year. As the name may imply, this game is a crossover between Ryuusei and EXE. Not many details are known at this point but I speculate that this game might finally realize the plan to make a BN/SF game in full 3D. Remember how BN5DS was discovered to have been planned in 3D but never made? I'm thinking that the Classic series will make a crossover with the X series similar to this game. Doesn't that make more sense?

Capcom made this "hand-off" special especially with all the "Thanks EXE! Now, welcome Shooting Star!" they did just because of the GBA -> DS transition. Unlike EXE, Classic was still there while X was still running.
