I don't know how this wasn't posted before. Just post your computer specifications: Processor, RAM, Graphic and Sound Card, Operating System(s), and any other device you consider important. Maybe we can have a recopilation of User's computers, so they don't have to repeat their specs over and over to get feedback. So, here I go with 3 computers I mainly use. -Aunt's Computer, used when I'm at her house- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @3 GHz [Vista Score: 5,6] RAM: 2 GB [Vista Score: 5,0] Graphic Card: nVidia GeForce 8800 GS 384 MB [Aero Score: 5,9 - Gaming Score: 5,8] Sound Card: Integrated IDT Audio Hard Disk: 250 GB Sata Drive [Vista Score: 5,9] Printer and Scanner: Hewlett Packard PSC 1410 All-In-One OS: Windows Vista Home Premium -My Computer, at home- CPU: Intel Pentium 4 HT 3 GHz [WinSeven Score: 4,1) RAM: 1 GB [WinSeven Score: 4,2] Graphic Card: nVidia GeForce 6200 256 MB [WinSeven Score: 2,8 and 3,2] Sound Card: C-Media 8768 Hard Disk: 40 GB IDE Drive - Used for Windows [Seven Score: 5,2] 40 GB IDE Drive - Used for Storage 80 GB IDE Drive - Used for Storage Printer: Canon S100 Screen: AOC A17UX231 @1280x1024 - 75 Hz OS: Windows 7 Pre-RC1 Build 7068 -Shiny New Laptop (Dad's)- HP 530 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @1,6 GHz [Seven Score: 4,6] RAM: 1 GB [Seven Score: 4,6] Graphic Card: Intel Integrated Graphics. 3,25 GB? Maybe you have 4 GB and the rest isn't recognised, right? To use more than that quantity, you have to use a 64-bit operating system.
I have used a Windows 95 computer with a 1 GB hard disk and a 486 processor. For that time, it was okay for me. Also, I changed my 20 GB disk for a 80 GB one, so... 40 GB + 40 GB + 80 GB = 160 GB :P And Operating System changed to Windows 2000 (ah... the speed... I like it.) |

I would change the CPU, since Celerons are not the best thing in world, and even less if we are talking about 1,8 GHz. But since I think your CPU socket is an old one, the best thing would be buying a whole computer and reuse parts like RAM and Hard Disk. Don't add more RAM. It's worthless for such a CPU.

Well...![]() My soundcard is internal and kinda shit... I think it's broken.. Hard to explain. My graphic card is also terrible dead because my "good" one doesn't work well. It causes blue screen all the time. The good one was 512 MB and the one I am using now is having only 64 MB but I am still lucky since I don't play anything on my computer, I can use it well. |

@Zero: Nope, CPU-Z will always tell you the same things even if you are running tons of Programs. And, you are lucky. Your CPU is socket 775. Core 2 Duo CPU's are Socket 775, Dual Core Pentiums are 775 too. All depends on your motherboard support, but you can upgrade to better components (refer to your motherboard user guide to check CPU support, or search its model in Internet). Same with Graphic Card, since it's an integrated one, you can put a Graphics Adapter in a PCI-Express slot of your computer. So, your computer can be improved =) Also... since I haven't posted Screenshots...
