no wonder....my last virus or spyware problem was caused because I download a file with WinRAR type. I do that cause I thought it may do fast with the whole album... |

That thread isn't about that but meh... Once i downloaded an .exe file with a virus. My antivir was able to detect it but wasn't able to delete (his behavior was like deleted file but it still was exist). I finally deleted it by replacing it while rebooting. Sooner or later You will always have some viruses. Once even by mistake i sent to GM files with bunch of viruses. That information goes to me, when i changed my antivir to another one and i scanned my HDD once again. Try to habit to them. |

I think you could use Wise Registry Cleaner and Wise Disk Cleaner, it made my computer alot faster. I had like a gazillion registry entries that were annoying. If you have HP software though, when you clean it, HP's software 'PanoStandAlone' will give you install 'missing files' errors and stuff. Just pop in the CD and it'll find the files for you. Also, I think SmartDefrag 1.03 is great. When your idle for 5 minutes, it'll start to autodefrag your hard drive and stop when your done! It can also optimize the hard drives files so that you can read and write files that you use alot, faster. |
