To make the patch more easily accessed, here's a topic! Download the latest, v2.3, here. ![]() -Changes include more of an enhanced preference (name fixes, renames) As well as Megaman Star Force styled HP box, with matching hurt 'n heal colors. -Also included are more colors for Megaman. All I really did was change his useless black palettes. Good luck trying to use them. -Protoman gets lots of new colors, including Protoman Sigma from my series. -Visual edits include Megaman and Lan, and other characters blinking during their walk cycle. They just seem to come alive!! -Megaman's in-battle sprite has been slightly edited to look more accurate. The triangle under his emblem is there now, etc. -Aquaman's mugshot has been fixed to completely show the entire mugshot, instead of the leftover border color. (go see for yourself) -All emotion windows have a 2 line pattern in the background. -Protoman has an entirely new emotion window. -I've also added more fonts in replace for Japanese fonts. Figure them out them out! -The extra version of BassSP has been replaced by BassΩ. -Roll 2 and 3 have been replaced by Roll V2 and V3. Same for Django. -"Spoutman" messages in battle have been corrected to "Aquaman". -Bass' Chip has a new image -Django and Hakushaku chips have had their purple palette fixed so the Megaman chip shows! -Grega Giga Chips now have their respective chip image and palette. -Double Beast has a permanent image and name but no description. -Featuring red menus instead of the boring peach color. -Version number in Capcom screen Preview Now More will always come. Maybe someday I can fix the broken chips... I will not make edits that affect the gameplay, like unexplained text hacks, chip hacks, or the such. Not this patch. Oh, and for the record. I am the original patcher. I made the first public BN6 patch, everyone else followed. :EVil: |

Well mine is not for expansion on the game. It's just a recommended enhanced experience. And yeah, I followed Spikeman, but I made the first patch for download. |

Yes. The letter code was obviously something they forgot to remove. The real icons, okay. And the blank one has been changed to a Mega Buster. Which reminds me, I should fix the Mega Buster chip on my patch. |

No. It's supposed to be a fix that everyone who has a normal game should use. Any changes that wouldn't make sense shouldn't go in. My next task is to try to make the Custom Bar animate like in MMSF. Seems difficult, though. |

Introducing v2.1. Mainly chip images. Here's a pic straight off of my screen to prove it.![]() Note that you can't actually fight that Chargeman. But I bet if the palette value can be found, just like in chips, you can probably change what color loads for what version and many more!! The offset 007232B4 in APE is a palette safe to replace to include a palette of your own. To actually use it for a chip, you must change the palette value (the purple ones are 5BB4) to the one you replaced, 3DB4 at type 072D. |

Oh. Palettes can't all fit on one type. Remember with Attack Hacking that there are 2 types of attacks. This seems to be some universal categorizing method that changes what will happen with the preceding value. Try it on Cannon. If you add 20h to its palette value, you get it to HiCannon. This mode goes by odds. But if you change the next value to another type, the resulting palette will be different. Get it? |

Wow, this thread doesn't have as many coments as I thought it would. Anyway, how did you add the darkchips icons? Did you edit the normal ones, draw them from scratch, or copy them for BN4/5 like I did? |

He most likely edited the graphics. That's how I did mine-They have silver, dark silver grey, and black in the palette for chip icons. |
