Fear of the Dark
I think most of You know that song or at least an album with that song. It has been performed by Iron Maiden.

For those of You, who are interested in it but You don't know it:
It has some Live versions, however as we exactly know, Live versions very rarely are better than studio ones. I'll show You two Live versions of that song, from Donington Castle (1992):

Why I'm posting that? As some of You know, I like music (and TURBO). I have a friend, with who usually (almost each day) i'm discussing songs, bands &c. Yesterday he said something like that:

I wonder what You think about that quote? I heard 9 different versions of Fear of the Dark - that three original ones, Graveworm, Ethereal, Defenders, "Testament", Ethereal Faun (probably) and even from Silent Hill. Among all of those songs, the worst one is Ethereal Faun (probably). I didn't found it at YT, so I'll give another link. What about others?
I'll start from end. "Testament" one. Why with inverted commas? Because that song is from Tribute album to Iron Maiden. Vocal is from Chuck Billy, a leader of Testament. Rest compositors (guitars &c) are from other bands.
It's strongly different than original one. Even begining of it is very strong, then when vocal comes... It's really very good song for a horror or gore horror background or something. But also it isn't very weird. I think, some of You may like it.
Defenders. No one of You know that band. It's from my native city. They released one EP, which technically was available only in my city. Also that band has been dissolved 8 or more years ago. I don't remember exactly. Because of that I'll not give an YT link but direct link to that song. Know power of Poland XD

Two next are very similar. Both of them are my favorite ones: Gravestorm and Ethereal. Both of them are with growl. Ethereal one is also with female voice. Very good songs.

As You can see, Graveworm one commonly is misleaded with Cradle of Filth, nota bene very good band from UK, and their leader - Dani Filth.
Also that women's voice is very good. It isn't like from Ethereal Faun. That two voices (femine one and growl) are very good with that song.
Last song I want to show You is UBER FUCKING SHIT and cover from Fightstar. I know, maybe some of You will like it, but it really isn't worth that. That song is from another Tribute - Maiden Heaven. Since I'm forced to post a link to that song (because I must discuss not only songs I like but also ones I don't like):
Anyway, that's small guide for Fear of the Dark covers. Which one is Your fave one? Maybe You have a version I didn't mentioned here? I didn't say anything about song from Silent Hill. Why? Because it's only shared a name and nothing more.

Escape From New York Theme
Snake Plissken. Cultic character as well as movies he appeard in them. Known from two:
- Escape From New York
- Escape From Los Angeles.
Played by Kurt Russell. Later Hideo Kojima inspired of him, made his well known series - Metal Gear Solid.
Yesterday I again watch that movie. I even don't know, how many times I did that. Today I want to show You themre from that movie, it's worth to listen it (as well as whole soundtrack from that movie - it's really deep):

Ну, погоди!
Uber old game, I played it when I was 9 or even less. It Russian title, "Ну, погоди!" ("Nu pogodi" but spelled as "Nu Pagadi") literally means "Now, wait". It was Soviet cartoon title about Волк (Wofl) who want catch 3аяц (Hare). Just like Your "Tom & Jerry". It was made at 1969-1986. Then after die of it's author, few episodes were added at 1994, 1995, 2005 and 2006.

Hurt - Załoga G
Hehe ^^. Great song. Title literally means "Crew of G" however it has hidden meanings comprehensible only for Poles. "Załoga G" is a Polish ttle for great and old anime, well known as "Kagaku ninja tai Gatchaman".

What is special in that song? As You see, main character is doing self-examination. We want to be great as some of characters from books or movies.
Bolek i Lolek:
Bolek is that big one with yellow undershirt and Lolek with white T-shirt. When I was a little kid, I was watching it. Always at 19:00 on TVP 1. Since 1970 or even before until now, always at 19:00 there is small time for kids. One of cartoons were "Bolek i Lolek".
Tytus Romek and A'Tomek:
Comic since 1957 and continued even now (as image shows). Tytus is that monkey, A'Tomek with glasses and ROmek - that big one. Usually all comics with them are full of paradox (like even this one is a politics joke - "Tusk Zapłać" is a parody of "Bóg Zapłać" - auto reply from any priest, if we will do something for them - while Tusk is current Polish Prime Minister). As with Bolek i Lolek, I was reading those comics.
Dzieci z Bullerbyn:
A book from 1947, written by Swede - Astrid Lindgren. Original title is "Alla vi barn i Bullerbyn" It's an obligatory book in one of firsts class of school.
Tomek na tropach Yeti:
This time Polish book about kid, named Tomek (Tom in English) who has many adventures. This book is a fourth in whole series and first time has been released in 1964. Title means "Tomek trail an Yeti".

Seika Iwashita - Toki no Kioku
As promised, "Toki no Kioku". That's a great OVA IMO. But many of You will say otherwise. Only six episodes, every 22 minutes. Story is mostly about revenge. Revenge from that small kid near cat. Almost...

Coma - Zero Osiem Wojna
Funny history is with this song. Personally I never liked Coma, because I heard somewhere, they're punk rock. Since I'm not a punk rock lover (but also I'm not hater), I didn't even try to listen any one single song. Until now. My nephew (greetings Matheo) had it on his description on Instant Messenger. So I goes to check YT for it. And I must say, it's not bad song.
That song is from a single, which is a preview of new Coma album - "Hipertrofia". It will be released 10th November (day before Independence Day) 2008.

Who the Fuck is Alice?
Today I planned different song for an entry. Yesterday I gave instrumental - 'Narodziny Demona", today I promised next one - "W Sobie", so to end this day I planned to show third (almost) instrumental - U96 - "Art of U96. But few days ago I found my old CDs and one of them was "BRAVO Hits, Best of 95. I listen those CDs, probably later i'll show some of them, but because of one of them I had good reminds. Smokie - "Who the Fuck is Alice?".
Generally it's a same version of an old Smokie hit - "Living Next Door To Alice"
Generally differences between orginal version and new one from 1995 are two:
- Title
- New phrase, that one from title of this entry, added to some of parts of this song.

TURBO - W Sobie
"W Sobie". From Polish more or less that means "Inside Yourself". Yesterday I made small list about TURBO's instrumentals and said, today I'll show next one - this one.
That's a special song somehow. This is TURBO's first instrumental ever. It belong to first TURBO album - "Dorosłe Dzieci" (from Polish, "Grown Up Childrens"). It's same old (1983) as me, I don't remember when it was released (month) but maybe August or near it as well. Trully I may say, this one ond previous "Narodziny Demona" are greatest TURBO instrumentals!
