Three Zakus sat under the dark sky of the desert night there was a fire going on in the middle of them. Suddenly a piece of wood was thrown over the fire "I told ya that thats not what I meant!" a man yelled in anger another was laughing the angry one had red hair the one laughing black. "Well thats not how it sounded, would you rather join the Union and betray us cause their mobile suits are prettier" the black haired man laughed the red haired man growled again. "Bastard" he said under his breath in anger. "Mikhail, Niko" another man said "What is with the pointless arguing" Altanero asked as he climbed out his mobile suit to look at them. The red haired guy growled "Mikhail said I wanted to join the union to pilot a pretty mobile suit!" he yelled, Mikhail continued to laugh. Altanero sighed some "Our Zaku is the back bone of our military it is stronger than any other suit even the Gouf, don't think prettier mean anything" he said sitting back down in his suit, he could hear Niko and Mikhail still arguing Altanero sighed "I hate patrol duty" he said under his breath. |

The sun started shinning as brightly as it was just dark Altanero looked up out of his suit and yawned "Finally" He said to himself as he knew the day break meant their patrol was over he pressed the button and the cockpit hatch closed on his zaku he turned on his com link. "Niko, Mikhail" he said with a slight yawn "Our shift is over lets get back to the base..." The other two zakus started moving as well suddenly something sounded on Altanero's radar "What the hell?" he said as his main monitor turned on, the mono eye on the Zaku looked around several times until it locked on its intended target. Altanero smirked at this "Looks like we got ourself t-61" he said to his teammates "Could be what we were looking for, we'll tail and move in once we have a clear sight...Niko get word back to the base" he said. |

En Sabah sat in his Gouf and looked on as the Zakus chased the T-61 tank. He smirked and took a swig from his water bottle "Freakin hot out here" he said tossing the water bottle out the cockpit and to the ground. He clicked on his com link "They got some nice parts boys, lets take em.." he laughed "Turn on the jammer and lets get this show on the road" he said as he started up his machine the mono eye flickered red a few times before fully coming on. The Gouf stood up and as the radar jamers were turned on jamming the radars. En Sabah laughed "Now, this looks like fun!" he yelled as the Gouf flew towards the Zakus, it pulled its sword out swinging at the red one. |

Altanero was still tracking the T-61 suddenly his radar went off. "What the hell? Radar interference" he said his eyes widened "An attack. Niko Mikhail watch yourselves" he yelled but it was too late the orange gouf had hit Niko's Zaku taking him down hard. "Shit" Altanero growled as he pulled back he saw the golden Gouf "A merc" he growled Altanero pulled up on his Zaku and pulled out its bazooka firing once. It then discarded the bazooka and went towards the Gouf pulling out its heat sword "Dirty trick knocking out our radar...where's your honor!" Altanero yelled swinging his sword. |

En Sabah laughed as his sword mad contact with the first Zaku he just cut its arm off and pushed it away, the mobile suit was useless to them if it was destroyed. He turned around just as the red one attacked he continued laugh as he pulled back on the controls the missile missing. The gouf lifted its gun and fired several times to throw the red which seemed to be the commander Zaku off its game. He heard the man yell at him over the loud speaker "Sorry honor has no place on the battlefield!" he yelled back pushing his Gouf towards the guy swinging his sword "Besides this is nothing personal! Its just business!!!" he continued to laugh psychotically. |

Altanero growled when the Gouf shot at him like he did, he pulled back making his Zaku spin side ways it landed a few feet back. Altanero was getting pissed this guy was no slouch to say the least he was a good pilot damn good. He looked at him when he heard what he said about honor "Without honor what good are you as a fighter" he yelled flying towards the gouf swinging his sword as well. Altanero slammed his sword into the gouf's sword then pulled out his second one trying to sever the gouf at the waist. |

En Sabah laughed "Grrrhaaa..." he said with a sadistic smirk as the mobile suits crossed swords, he saw the Zaku pull out another blade and try to take him in half he smirked as he moved the Gouf's hand to catch the blade "HA!" He yelled laughing moving the foot of his Gouf to kick the Zaku En Sabah did an entire flip and landed sliding back some. He looked up with a smirk "Oh come on, what is honor on a battlefield? If you can't have fun whats the point!" He yelled suddenly his console beeped he clicked it "Hmm a new job...why the hell not?" He laughed "Another time Zaku...another time!!!" En Sabah yelled as his Gouf started to fall back. |

Altanero's eyes widened in shock when his Zaku was forced back by the flipping Gouf "Who the hell is this guy?" he growled as he watched the Gouf rush off. He stood there the radar came back in as soon as it was gone "So it was him causing the radar jam" he said under his breath "Niko who's Mikhail?" he asked. "Doing fine he heart a few ribs when his suit went down" he said, suddenly a transmission came through. "Captain are you there" a voice called. "Yeah I'm here, sorry about that something was jamming our transmission. Whats going on?" he asked "We need you to get back to the Brightest Night immediately" the voice replied. "Understood, we're heading out guys" Altanero looked back to where the Gouf was "Who was that bastard?" he questioned. |

A transport plane had landed and the Zakus were being loaded on to it. Altanero looked at the damaged Zaku that was put on, he spit in the sight of it. "Ridiculous" he said under his breath who was that damn pilot that attacked them was he really doing that just out of fun. It was pilots like him that made things difficult to be a soldier he made war a game more than what it really was a struggle for humanity. Altanero walked over to the transport and climbed on it. Altanero walked over to the Helmsman "Take off when we're ready," he said to her "We'll be heading over to the Sahara Zone." |

The transport plane took off slowly and lifted into the air inside it Altanero sat back with his arms crossed "Hmm" he said turning on his monitor "What is it sir?" Niko asked Altanero looked over the area they were going "Why are we being order here, do they want us to protect the plant...but that would just be aiding the Union and AEU...there's something else" he said to Niko. "Very perceptive Captain" An old man said walking over to them Altanero looked at him "Chief Engineer Albert...I knew it was something else" he replied "Yes we have intel that the Union maybe testing new weaponry in this battle, we want you to capture it" he told Altanero, who stood up "Sir" he replied. |

Altanero was still sitting and waiting to get an update on the tracking thing. "Sir" a female voice called over the intercom "Yes Rebecca?" he asked "We've picked up the enemy ship and are tracking it now" She said "Good, keep the Wukong flying above their radar, if its a land ship they shouldn't be able to pick us up that much" he said to her. He turned to the Mechanics "How's the repairs going?" he asked them "They will be don within the hour sir" he said. Altanero walked away he walked in a room and turned on a video of the G04 fighting the gouf "It was the same Gouf, so he is a merc" Altanero said "Either way we'll be there soon enough" he said. <EXIT> |
