Name: Avel Beniva Age: 23 Gender: Male Rank: Lieutenant Call Sign: Nereus Duty: Communications Skills: Excellent with most electrical devices, in both the usage and maintenance of them. He is also a fair shot with his sidearm when the need arises. Avel is also a very talented pianist, having many years of practice. Appearance: Avel is approximately 5’11” in height and weighs around 164 lbs. His hair is of medium length, being platinum blond in color. The most unusual part of his appearance would be that of his eye color, being a startling Emerald Green. His complexion was relatively fair, being smooth with no real distinguishing marks. His body build is lightly toned, as he is fairly athletic. Clothes: Avel tends to simply wear a standard issue Federation Forces uniform. Otherwise he can be found wearing long-sleeved shirts, often of a dark color, with a jacket overtop. As he views this choice of attire appropriate for nearly all circumstances, with the jacket being perfect to conceal a shoulder holster. Personality: Avel is a rather humble, calm natured person. He almost always seems to bear a smile upon his face, giving him a cheerful appearance. In all honesty this appearance is a mere façade used as a mask of his true feelings, which most often have a darker nature to them. These feelings are most often only revealed through the mood of his music, both in what he listens to and performs. This façade does disappear at times though, with the main time being during combat situations. With his cheerfulness being replaced by an extreme seriousness. History: Avel Beniva came from an upper class family, with both his parents being Engineers under the employ of Anaheim Electronics. Living in the lunar city of Von Braun, with parents rarely home, he spent most of his free time either playing soccer or piano practice (Both of which he seemed to posses natural talent for). After receiving his formal education, receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering, he made the decision to join the Federation Forces. This decision came as a mild shock to his parents, whom had expected him to become an employee of Anaheim Electronics as well. Due to his education he was quickly assigned a position as a Communications Officer. Despite the change in living conditions Avel experienced from joined the military he adjusted quite well. He also greatly enjoyed the technical aspects of the job, as the military attempted to solve the problems posed by the Minovsy particles resulting in bulky shielding on most devices and landline communications for long distances. Avel also seems to excel in a high-pressure environment, adopting a solemn in place of his usual cheerful nature. Of course, his relaxed state is what makes him an asset no matter where he is located whether it is in the base or in the field. It is a well-known fact that Avel was stationed on Luna II during the opening months of the war, having seen heavy casualties before being transferred to Fort South Ridge. Equipment: A semiautomatic 9mm pistol that he carries in a shoulder holster, which is most often concealed. He also carries a small toolkit with him at most times, useful in repairing many electrical devices. |
