This is one of 8 cars raced at the 1968 Winter Nationals. It was the Paul Harvey car driven by Jerry Harvey. We have a copy of the 1987 Mustang Monthly. There is an article published about Don Nicholson's car found. It said there that was the only one known at that time. We do not know if any more have shown up or not. We also have a copy of the soft back book Mustang Production Guide. Our Vehicle Identification No. matches one of those, which shows unknown. It belonged to our best friend. He bought it October 26, 1968 from Paul Harvey himself. He has been the only owner since then. It has been garaged. He completely restored it a few years ago then he suddenly died in 2001. We are in the process of selling it for his estate. We are sending a photo so you can see the quality of this car. We know it is a valuable car. Here is some information we have. The body was built as a racecar without a motor. The car was then sent to California and a motor built by Bill Stroppe was put in all factories built racecars. I am looking for any article or information you or some of your readers have. This car had not been titled until May of this year that is why no one knew where it was. There have been a lot of details taken care of since this picture was taken. It also now has Chrome rear wheels. If you know any of the information we would appreciate it. I have tried to register it in the Mustang Registry but cannot get into the site. It will not take the Vin # . This is what is on some papers we found in the car.
