Donna, lay an old quilt or heavy banket on the roof and put the hood there or wrap the back corners with carboard and stand against a wall. I usaully stand the hood up as it is the only way to do when your by yourself. I made a hanger and hung my comet hood from the ceiling. Take the hood inside the house if room in the shop is a problem. I think you should hang the hood on a wall in your living room. :D

ACCCKKKKKKKKK!!! Hahahahah...you are a brat....

Ok kids, newest update, I think I am going to go and price out crate engines and see what I can find. I am going to see if the price difference is going to warrant the rebuild and the headaches that I am postive are going to come along with that...also, I have a grrl question so no laughing, can I change the drive shaft anytime or am I better off to just do everything all at once????

I will fill ya in on the engine info on Friday after I get some info...thanks for the help kids...

Oh, anyone have a nice set of headers that they don't want??? Hhehehee.... :D

Donna, yes you can pull-out the driveshaft anytime but if the rear tranny seal is shot it will leak oil. Why do you need to change your driveshaft or are you replacing the u-joints?
