When I get my engine done, I was kinda hoping to keep the stang here so I can do the work I need to do in the engine bay...Adam says I should take the car and leave it where it is getting rebuilt...will I be able to take the engine out with a little help and transport it???? Or should I take the car where it is being done??? It will be sitting outside and I won't be able to do squat, so it seems silly to me...opinions???

Personally I would pull the engine and transport it in. If you go this route there are some pitfalls. First be sure to take lots of digital pictures so you can put it all back together correctly. Second get your help from someone that has pulled and reinstalled an engine successfully. Third, the place that is doing the rebuild will have less work to do, so this may take their price down some. Lastly, pulling an engine and reinstalling is a lot of work for some people.

Good luck in whatever you do.

I did most of the work myself. I didn't take enough "before" pictures. My brother came over to lend a hand when needed. Like removing the hood, that can't be done without an extra hand or two. My Stang is crawling along at a very slow pace. Mckayla has been my priority. I believe she is also in love with your Kieth Urban. Whenever his video "Memories of us" comes on the tele, she stops what she is doing and watches it (the video) intently.

Also bag, tag and mark everything you take apart and keep all the parts in the same place.

Just pull it yourself pony, Ya know you want too............................................
You can then address the eng compartment if needed. It would sit outside at someone elses place and that would suck...............................You could everything back..I think..................So start pulling.. :naughty:
