Ok...this is the 67...obviously... When I am almost stopped and turning there is a strange clunking noise that feels like it comes from the steering column. I just had the front end and understuff checked today at the shop. Does anyone have any idea where to look next ??? We are thinking steering box....any ideas????????? |

Could possibly be the U-Joint in the steering column. Turn the steering wheel and have someone check for play in it. |

That shouldn't be a problem for her to deal with... her front wheels never touch the ground when she's driving anyways!!!

So today, we found where the "clunking" was comming from... it was a loose nut behind the steering wheel !!!
