Da Queen...

Ok...this is the 67...obviously...

When I am almost stopped and turning there is a strange clunking noise that feels like it comes from the steering column. I just had the front end and understuff checked today at the shop. Does anyone have any idea where to look next ??? We are thinking steering box....any ideas?????????

Could possibly be the U-Joint in the steering column. Turn the steering wheel and have someone check for play in it.

I'm thinking it's the steering box also.

That shouldn't be a problem for her to deal with... her front wheels never touch the ground when she's driving anyways!!!

So today, we found where the "clunking" was comming from... it was a loose nut behind the steering wheel !!! :crack:
