Remove bolts......................stop to talk on phone..........................removed valve cover......................stop to do your nails......................removed old valve cover gasket material from head surface.................stop to get a pedicure.......................................install gasket on new valve cover...............................stop to fix your hair.................install valve cover and removed the other bolts...............stop to redo nails because gasket scraper scratch your polish.....:gripe:........................removed other valve cover......................stop to check the soaps on T.V. ................................removed second old gasket.......................stop and stare at first valve cover and say"how pretty"............................install second valve cover and finish your (insert correct drink I.E. beer, rum) ............................... :tongue:

Ok...I won't take offense the girlie additives in there, though many would, I wouldn't recommend doing it again though. It was basically due to nothing fitting from the old covers onto the new ones, so I had the almost hour trip into town to replace the breather. Then one of them was spewing oil everywhere so I had to take it off and redo it again which meant taking off the gasket, and cleaning it all again and reglueing it (hahaha, and Adam did that one the first time!!!), the T bolts that I had on the old covers didn't fit on the new ones in the top three holes, so we had to find some that fit, that was an adventure in itself....and it was about 80 freaking degrees out, (not that I am complaining) so there were a few beer involved!!! It now looks freaking marvy....

That's really not bad (5 hours!!!) It took me over three days to re & re Thunders's and they were a guarranteed fit!!! (they were already fit before). Detailing takes time if you want to do it right!!! :crazy:

As is now from the pics posted of the valve covers................................Now now queenie............Dont take offense....................a little fun is all. The valve covers look sweet as does the rest of your car.......................and the fact you got your hands dirty.................well that in my book is a........how should I say.......... a quality trait.....all hail :queenie: ...

Women that work on cars.......................... :clapping: ..................

So :spank: me if you must...from those hands it's alright with me...................

In the twelve years of dealership work, I have yet to met a lady that can hold a wrench.........................................................
