My current and most likely last horse........The coupe was my first mustang. Built it my self in 87.....the 86 GT convert I aquired in 90 and eventually gave it my wife to replace her 86 LX when I bought the 65 Convert. ...... .........Sold the 65 coupe....
.....and the black 86 LX. We simply did not need 4 stangs..............And when the kids came the 86 GT had to go..........
...I really loved that 86. But 2 stangs needing new tops was just to much with kiddos now here........

Thank you all for the great comments...............Biggest reason I joined the stables here.......read alot of other posts and responses like these.....................Lady I'll see what I can do....................................But No .. ...........at me.....:skidmarks:. to find some pics and a much bleaker story....................... :cry:Back last february 4 cars rear ended each other, my car making 5 all together......Basically ruined everything between the bumper and the hood was pushed back into the fan. Every car came to a erally quick stop. I was hard on the brakes but to no avail. a $2500.0 paint job gone. Got it back from paint at the beggining Jan last year and the first of Feb......Bang.......Still need a hood, Rad support, recored Rad, Good headlamp Buckets,( have cracked replacements and grill............You actually cant tell right now after pulling and hammering it out..........At least not in current pics. I have some of the pics after the wreck and right now...................Still drives but looks like crap out front..............

Thank you for the support. Funny thing..................................I had to laugh a bit......................Figured it could have been worse. My son was strapped in his car seat, and he said and I qoute " I didn't do it dad"...............He just turned three. But the sun does rise again and after a year I finally found an original hood at an ehh good price. I'm not too big of a fan on after market sheetmetal, but I picked up an original hood for $150.00 on e-bay. It's in Houston so a 5hr. round trip isn't that bad a deal. $40.00 in gas total $190.00. Not too bad. Original N.O.S hoods run $500.00 easy minus $100.00 shipping. New hood made with original tooling. $400.00 without shipping. Repop. $149.99 minus shipping. So the day of $50.00 and $100.00 hoods are just about gone, $149.99 for an original hood without rust seems as good a deal as I can find. Texas is huge. But a year too find a decent priced hood within a couple hours driving distance is rediculas. But finally I can start the re-construction process. I have to get the used rad support from a fellow here in town. Not a big deal. Should be fun...............At least it was 15 yr's ago. Now where to start................................ :head:.........Hey Pony.....in reference to your valve cover post...................what should I start with when it's done..................High beams or....... low............................
