They are just a little rusty, but in surprisingly good shape for being almost 40 years old! It's enough to make an almost 50 year old bodyman feel a little younger!! :hearts:

I've tried to put up pictures, but they won't load as readily as Laurel & Hardy for some reason. As soon as I get time to find a computer guru to help me out, I'll get them up! :D (something to do with my latest scanner I think)

Thanks - I think I've got the picture resize thing figured out!! All by my lil self! I've been wanting to put up some pics of the entire car here ever since I got it - success at last!!

It's been repainted at least twice, but other than that, it hasn't been butchered at all. It's going to be a while before I can afford an engine, but I have a lot of bodywork to do anyway. I have new rust repair parts coming, and I'm about to start stripping the engine comp for paint. I need to decide on a color yet, and soon, because I want the engine comp to be body color. I'm not impressed with any of the OEM colors for 65 (it was originally ivy green - similar if not exactly, like the "Bullitt" Mustang. I'm leaning towards a bright silver, but I'm not there yet. During the day while working, I'm always checking out the colors of all the cars I see!!

It came with a 6 cyl - 3 speed. I have a 57 Ford 9" rear, and 73 Mustang front spindles that I hope will do the 5 lug conversion. I'm planning on a 302 - C4. I'm not worried about all the numbers matching correctness, just a tastefully done toy. Since I have to do rustwork around the rear wheel wells any way, I'm thinking about fudging them up and inch or an inch and a half - not to make it noticeable, but to make room for bigger smokers!! I've painted a few of these 65 - 66's for others, and tire clearance seemed to be a problem with them. Haven't made that decision yet either. Comments welcome!! :)
