Post character information here. Make sure the sheets for your round characters (ones with development) are fleshed out. Sheets for your flat characters can be shorter, but try to post as many as you can. The more characters we have to work with, the better. Here is the template: Name: (Insert character name, including last name.) Race: (Your character's race. Possible options are human, demon, human-demon hybrid, angelic demon, Sekihan, and god. Assume your only choice is human.) Age: (Your character's age.) Appearance: (Your character's physical appearance. Include details such as clothing, skin tone, eye color, hair color, scars, gestures, habits, and height.) History: (Give a tight summary of your character's history, including birth, childhood, development, and possible extradimensional adventures. Yes, that fourth thing will be present in some characters.) Personality: (The characteristics that make your character who he or she is. Should be reflective of that character's history.) Significant Relationships: (Your character's friends, family, and acquaintances. Basically, list the people your character wants to protect, the people who are close to him or her.) Martial Abilities: (List the weapons or skills your character can wield in combat. Include descriptions of how they learned to use them. Please don't hesitate to make disciplines of, say, magic up. If, for example, you make up a school of magic or something, I'll support you unless it directly contradicts canon, which it most likely won't unless your character learned magic from space rabbits or something.) Skills: (List the real-world skills your character possesses. Can include anything from cooking to woodcutting to hop scotch. Your choice.) Title: (Your character's title. Your character must belong to a faction of some kind. Please feel free to invent such a faction if the need arises.) Motivations: (Your character's goals, short-term and long-term. Give a brief description of this character's vision of how they might play out. Be sure to update as they change.) Edited by JDWitchdoctor, Dec 17 2010, 01:20:23 PM.

Name: Marie Siema Race: Demon/Vampire Age: 20 Appearance: Siema is an elegant, refined looking girl standing at only 5.6, who often wears a white, lacy coat over a long, white dress that draws attention to her face, which is best characterized by her slender cheeks, her large, light blue eyes, her small lips, and her cute, pointed nose. She usually coats her eyelashes with a tiny amount of black mascara to make them seem longer, and she is known to wear a smidgen of bright red lipstick on occasion. Otherwise, she sticks to a simple, natural look that shows off the natural beauty of her family, the royals of Dingard. When traveling, she wears a loose, black cloak over a gray, ruffled dogi that doesn't restrict her full range of motion. When wearing this, she wears light brown, wedge boots with fur at the top for comfort and warmth. No matter what she wears, though, she usually keeps the same hairstyle, parting her bangs to show her forehead and tying her thick, black hair in the back with a black hairband and letting it fall back in a single ponytail. She rarely lets too much of her pale, white skin show, not because of shyness but because of its sensitivity. As a vampire, contact with the sun can be more damaging to her skin than to normal humans, so she dusts her face with a fine powder she learned to make from Sothe, the demon who turned her into a vampire. People say she resembles her mother, the former Emperor of Dingard's wife. Before becoming a vampire, Siema was a darling with the public. Now that she has reentered the public light, people once again admire her beauty. History: Born 60 AC to Alfred and Louise Siema, Marie was their second child, but the first to make it past childhood. Princess Marie Siema was a playful and curious girl who learned to read and write at an early age, and showed promise in school. However, after preschool, her parents put her in the tutorship of their most trusted general, Reinhard Douglass. Douglass taught Siema everything from mathematics to literature to military tactics. By the time she was 14, Siema was already a presence in meetings at the royal court and in war room briefings. As General Douglass's apprentice, she helped formulate plans during Dingard's war with Reno. Her parents, of course, doted on their daughter, and she was the darling of the public, who looked forward to her reign as empress. A talented, spirited girl with dreams of grandeur and the skills to realize them, Siema seemed destined for greatness. Then, the demon Sothe attacked. Sothe, the last of the vampires, originally planned on carrying out a vendetta against the emperor, but when he forced his way into the throne room he found only Marie and Louise Siema, mother and daughter. Sothe decided then to slay them and rob the emperor of his family the way that Sothe had been robbed of his family during the war in Reno. He quickly took them by surprise, killing Louise Siema, but fighting Marie proved more of a challenge than expected. Impressed by the girl's spirit and talent, Sothe choose her as his queen. A male vampire could only make one other person into a vampire, the person he chose to be his queen. By making Siema his queen, Sothe was entrusting the future of his race to her fortune. After biting her and completing the process, he left, hoping she would survive and bring children into the world. Unfortunately, Siema's fortunes were about to take a turn for the worse. Dingard's emerging conflict with Saronia put pressure on the emperor, and the death of his wife was hard on him. He announced that Marie had survived the attack, but kept her imprisoned in the laboratories of the castle, hoping that Dingard's finest physicians could cure the "disease" Marie had developed. General Douglass objected to this, but the Emperor was in no state of mind to listen. For him, the world was closing in on him and his kingdom, and he saw no alternative but to lash out. Four years into the political strife, he decided to go to war. In her imprisoned state, Marie had few friends. The only other soul she could communicate with beside Douglass was a young man trapped in a nearby dungeon. Every day, they would exchange written notes, talking about anything they could. They needed each other to keep from going insane with loneliness. This young man would later turn out to be Vergel Merzarick. When the war with Dingard broke out, Siema was released to help Douglass plan out strategies. Finally, Siema could return to something she enjoyed, but by that time she realized what Dingard was doing. Her father had started this war as a conquest, firing the first shots and razing many towns around Dingard and Saronia to the ground. Despite her ties to Douglass and the other military officers, Siema knew she couldn't formulate raids that would destroy entire villages. So, she ran away, escaping the castle Dingard just in time to meet with a group of travelers searching for a way to end the war. This was how she met such people as Andrew Vastor, Vergel Merzarick, Mizu, and Kazuma Vanas. She identified herself only as Siema, and played the charming, yet mysterious girl around them to try and gain their trust. Eventually, the group confronted Rabist, and in the resulting battle much of Dingard and Saronia's landmass was devastated. Shortly thereafter, the group learned that a man named Dion was attacking the northern cities alongside the Elemental Lords, terrible fiends that had plagued mankind for millennia. The group traveled north and fought the Kraken and his terrible servants. They managed to prevail against the servants, but Dion completed his plan to revive Janus before they could thwart him. The revived Janus promptly connected with the planet and used his renewed magical powers to conquer the kingdoms of the mainland continent, Dingard included. In the year that followed, Siema ran from the imperial forces. Her father, the former Emperor of Dingard, perished while trying to rally his ravaged kingdom, and the rest of Dingard's remnants joined Clint in his formation of his kingdom in the Wild Lands. After weeks of wandering, Siema found herself succumbing to terrible urges to feed on humans for strength. She didn't need human energy to survive, the the rush that came from doing so gave her power she never dreamed of possessing. By the time Sothe found her, she was living like an animal. Sothe tried to train Siema to control her urges, and he even taught her about the long, proud history of vampires, but before he could finish her training, Daetalus came under attack by Dion, Clint, and the Preying Blades. Although Siema had reservations about attacking the soldiers of the Wild Lands, many of whom were soldiers of Dingard, she recognized Dion and Clint's evil intentions. She and Sothe joined Daetalus's resistance against their enemies, but Sothe lost his life in the fighting, leaving Siema as the last demon vampires left in the world. In the events following Clint's attack on Daetalus, Siema did her best to make a difference, but her role only changed after the destruction of the newly formed Rabisat and the formation of a democratic government in Daetalus. Many of the peaceful survivors of Dingard now lived in Daetalus, and Siema became a leader to them. With the discovery that their darling princess was still alive, the people regained hope, and Siema found her new role in politics enjoyable. However, another threat soon loomed over the distance. With the return of the gods, Siema knew that she had to act if she was to protect her people. She also recognized the danger that Caro, Vergel's other half, presented. It was hard to admit, but she also feared for her friend, Vergel. During the month following Rabisat's destruction, they had grown closer, even learning that they had exchanged letters during their imprisonment in Dingard. At this point in her life, Siema has come to realize what she values most, but she is still young, and she has yet to truly understand the importance of friendship and selflessness. Her time in Dingard's labs made her more reclusive and distrusting than she'd like to be, and she's still struggling to overcome the wild tendancies that overcame her after Dingard's fall, but Siema is determined to overcome her difficulties and emerge as a better person. The only problem is that, unless she can make a difference, humanity itself might disappear. This, and the reemergence of demons, has led her to question her identity. Personality: Siema is an outwardly playful girl, but reserved in her choice of friends and confidants. In light conversations, she can hold her own, and she can even take part in serious intellectual discussions with ease, but emotional issues still upset her. Her imprisonment has made her jumpy, leading her to sometimes wake up suddenly, sweating and nervous. In battle, she allows some of her newfound demon instincts to take over, but she is still very controlled and confident. Because of this, though, she can appear cold. Significant Relationships: Siema has a number of friends, including Vergel, Andrew, Cyrus, and Kurde. She is also happy to see that Reinhard Douglass has risen to a high position in the Imperial Military, and she keeps on good terms with him. Martial Abilities: Trained by: Reinhard Douglass, Sothe Siema has been taught by Dingard's finest, giving her a fine knack for swordfighting and basic martial arts. She uses Dingard Offensive Form II: developed by General Douglass to compete with his second in command, General Antipus's Form I. Whereas Form I uses powerful slashes and energy attacks fired from the sword itself, including the Shock ability, Form II relies on quick cuts and devotion of energy to speed. She also has basic magical training, but no serious commitment to any particular energy attacks. Her next training came from Sothe, who taught her to conjure demon fire, increase her speed and strength with a red demonic aura, and control basic demon energy, allowing her to start fires, fire mild energy attacks, and increase her precision. She uses Level II Demon Fire, a variant used by mid-level demons. Siema's main asset is her natural speed, and Sothe taught her how to use this in battle. Sothe's trainingly allowed Siema to augment her Form II style significantly by supplementing her quick sword attacks with demon fire, essentially surrounding the sword in flames that linger on the flesh of any target she cuts. Siema's last technique is the Blood Rush, which dramatically increases her strength for a limited time before draining her completely. In this form, she becomes engulfed in a red aura, and her inner demonic instincts take over. Her energy attacks and demon flames especially receive a significant boost, and she gains the ability to fuel it all into a large, final attack in which she gathers all the latent demon energy in her body and fires it in an unwieldy, but powerful beam. Skills: Siema is a skilled chess player, a violinist (albeit a bit rusty), a good card player, an excellent runner, and an adequate camper. She learned these skills by studying under Reinhard Douglass, who taught her most of her life skills. She can also control her demon energy to perform such tasks as lighting fires, giving her vision in the dark, and creating a strong red light. Title: Siema's official title is "District 9 Mayor," as she was elected to leadership of Dingard's most prominent community in Daetalus. Edited by JDWitchdoctor, Jan 31 2010, 01:31:17 PM.

Name: Yuri Grant Race: Human Age: 25 Appearance: Yuri Grant stands 6.0 with a slight, wiry build and thick brown hair cut in a clean military style. He has an average face typical of men in Daetalus and kind brown eyes. Fellow soldiers describe him as a humble-looking man whose looks leave people unsuspecting of the strong personality within him. As an officer, Yuri wears a standard offier's uniform, a gray shirt and pants complete with a black leather belt, black leather shoes, insignias at the front pocket, and a tight, stiff collar. In battle, Yuri wears the typical pilot's uniform, a drab, pine green flight suit with pressure controls, a helmet equipped with a yellow optional visor and optional oxygen mask. History: Born 55 AC in Daetalus to Dmitri and Ivana Grant, Yuri lived an uneventful life, going through elementary, middle, and high schools in a middle-class neighborhood in Daetalus's East Gate community. After graduating high school, he applied to the Military Academy and was accepted, going and completing four years training as a pilot and two years as infantry. However, he failed to make officer in time to become a pilot for Daetalus's war with Clint, so he entered the Outer Defense Force (ODF) as an Officer Cadet. Clint's first attack on Daetalus gave him his chance for distinction, and he personally led the infantry attack that drove Clint's invading forces away from North Gate. During this battle, he scored 21 infantry kills and 2 tank kills: enough to net him his promotion to Lieutenant Second Grade. However, the battle also cost him his grandparents, who were crushed to death when Clint destroyed the dome. Now that the war was becoming more and more personal to him, Yuri redoubled his efforts to give his best in the effort to defeat Clint. He joined the Expeditionary Forces on their assault on Clint's army in Kingston, and led his men with distinction. After Janus's death, Yuri remained in infantry, but secretly applied to the Lancer squadrons, hoping to gain a position in the second squadron being formed or, preferably, Jack Logan's Sun Squadron. However, his chance to join Sun Squadron before their first sortie was dashed by Sen Jeux and Rutland's attack on the city, and Yuri found himself caught in the midst of an ambush. Personality: Yuri is an unassuming, outspoken man, but hardworking and dedicated enough to earn the respect of his peers. Friends describe him as cautiously optimistic, but cite his tendency to be cynical in the face of extreme adversity. However, this cynicism belies calculating analytical skills and an instinct for battle. Yuri has many times proven he can stay calm in the face of danger, and during a crisis people recognize his ability to make accurate assessments of the situation. Outside of combat, Yuri can be considered normal enough, and he goes about it in a nonchalant way. He openly fights for his family and for the future of his city, and no one questions his loyalty or his skills. Significant Relationships: Yuri's father, mother, two older brothers, and older sister all live in Daetalus, his brothers serving as soldiers and his father as a consultant to a contracting firm working for the military. His sister works at an arms development plant, and his mother happily lives at home, retired from working at the same plant. Yuri's family is seen as a traditional military family in Daetalus. Yuri has also gotten to know his captain, Michael, and his lieutenant, Leareth, over time, and has come to respect their powers and their talents. Martial Abilities: Trained by: Daetalus Military Academy Instructors, Jack Logan Yuri has received basic combat training from his academy instructors as well as pilot training. His hand-to-hand combat rating has been marked as excellent, and he has successfully mastered Daetalus Form I, the Defensive school of swordfighting that emphasizes parries and counterattacks instead of direct attacks. Yuri has developed some knowledge of Spiritual Force, and he can implement it to a basic extent in his fighting, making him about as strong as the average demon soldier in physical confrontations. Yuri is also an excellent shot, though nowhere near as skilled as the marksmen Cyrus Edwards. Still, he can hold his own in nearly any firefight. Yuri has also received some pilot's training by Captain Jack Logan, who was impressed by Yuri's potential. Yuri continually practices in flight simulators and logs at least two hours of flight time every day. Skills: Yuri has knowledge of range of different survival skills. He is also decent at sports, including a variant of football, and enjoys bird watching. Title: Lieutenant Second Grade |

Name: Leareth Fenwell Race: Fallen Angel Age: About 100 in body(last incarnation was destroyed by Frey) and millions of years in mind and soul Appearance: Leareth is truly an impressive sight to behold. Ever since the loss of magic, he has been unable to hide away the great onyx wings that mark his inhumanity. Though the fire has disappeared from his eyes, now everyone can see the bright sapphire eyes that can seem to penetrate deep into a person's soul and see their very darkest secrets. To further accentuate this feeling of unmarred perfection that he carries, Leareth has golden hair that falls in perfect waves to a medium length for men and the angel's face has that royal look that many a woman have swooned for when he worked darker agendas. For clothing, the entity has taken to wearing grey camo pants and a tank top with an army jacket showing off his rank. With his physique, this makes him give out the aura of a soldier as well, but that feeling is marred as he still wears two golden earrings, each one of a cross within a pentagram. History: Leareth was born on a planet long forgotten to even the gods, and not the name Leareth. This entity was originally known by a name that even he has forgotten to the sands of time. His father was a man named Fenwell, who upon that world was the ultimate swordmaster when he used a greatsword, and amazingly great when given another blade. To this, his father passed along his skill to his son, who to this very day feels a need to surpass that man in skill. Leareth's mother was a woman he does not remember well, for she was not very involved with her son's life as Fenwell took the boy to hard practicing by the age of five. As the boy grew up, his father forced the child to take on a grueling test of his ability and will at the age of sixteen. For two years, the boy was left out on a large island that was known for its lethality to humans. To his credit, he passed, returning home only to find that his entire village was destroyed, and someone had defeated Fenwell in battle, slaying the famous swordsman. Taking up his father's blade, the young man went out to find his father's killer, for he was compelled to be the absolute best, but still has he not encountered the killer, for at the age of twenty-three, time struck down. All around the young man, the universe collapsed, finally bending to the force of gravity. Unlike the rest of existence, something saved the young man from death, perserving him within the miniscule egg that all of life had become. To this very hour, Leareth still has no idea what saved him, or why it did just that, but he has given up on finding out. As the youth slept within the timeless mass that was his previous world, a strange entity came along the egg. Feeling a compelling desire, the entity decided to make this egg into its own universe. Within the space of a milisecond, the egg was opened and a new realm was forming, with the young man still in a state of suspension. The entity was surprised to find the young man and took him into its folds of power. As the youth awakened, it was met by the entity, learning that it simply called itself "God." Unable to remember his name after the suspended animation, God christened the one child that was not his own "Leareth," a name fitting for a being born out of the timeless darkness of non-existence. As God raised up its newly adopted child, it granted Leareth much of the same powers as it granted to the angels it soon created. Within a matter of years, Leareth was among God's favorite children. His appearence had drastically changed from what he was born as, and his power with it. But, this was not to be long-lived, for soon after Leareth began to grow close to another of the archangels; Lucifer. Lucifer was truly the second-most powerful being in existence, his power only dwarfed by his creator. He was God's most beautiful creation, in every way. As time passed, the archangel began to feel that God should not be the ruler and that he should. It was this pride that led Lucifer to rally a third of the angels behind him against God. To Leareth, who had begun to figure out his past, it presented an oppurtunity to free his mind from the power of God and to go upon his own journey for knowledge. Even more powerful was the feelings that Leareth had developed for Lucifer. As many know, the rebellion failed, Michael and the other archangels striking back at Lucifer and his force and thrusting them down into the Lake of Fire. But unlike normal mortal souls, none of these beings were capable of death, and each was burned and marred by the firey waters, Lucifer most of all. He was transformed into the first demon, his form mangled and with this he took on a new name; Satan. To Leareth, God felt mercy and staid Michael's sword. He asked the dark angel if he wished to stay within their realm, but Leareth declined, for he felt that something special awaited him by going upon a new path. With that, Leareth was cast down from Heaven and into the Lake of Fire, but unlike the rest his form was not marred, only darkened. His eyes took on the fires he fell into and his wings were charred into an onyx black. Within Hell, Leareth was quickly taken up by Satan as his right-hand man, though hidden from the knowledge of the rest of existence. With this secretive being, Satan was able to extend his power over a multitude of realms and worlds, using Leareth as a spy and aggravator on many of them. But thrice has Leareth failed, and each time caused by his lingering emotions of humanity, things he did not understand for he believed he had lost them with his rebirth. It was with this story that Leareth entered into a new world, Vanda, and was almost immediately met by a strange human. This human was the legendary hero Frey, who believed that Leareth was another demon to kill. The battle between the two was short, but significant to the fallen one, for Frey succeeded in slaying him, something that Leareth had experienced once before, and death is definitely only meant to happen once, not twice. Afterwords, the angel awoke to find himself in a suit of armor reminiscent of his time as a mortal. The armor served to seal Leareth's power and it was with this in mind that he travelled with a group of people to kill a beast named Ultima. Along the way, the angel found Hades' sword, a weapon capable of many things and one that fit Leareth's style well. It was with this blade that Leareth was able to help the group slay Ultima. Afterwords, the armored angel went on to find himself with a group battling against forces few were capable of understanding. To Leareth, he recognized a distinctive feeling about the forces and came to believe he had met them before. As time passed, the angel was forced to ask a sage to unlock his armor so that he may battle a truly deadly enemy; Rabist. The difference in powers between the two was clearly apparent, as the newly-released angel found himself battling a being far beyond his own meager capabilities at the time. Luckily, the chaotic creature was drawn away by other events and Leareth was able to escape with his life, only to find that he was forced to travel to the collapsing kingdom in hopes of saving the world from a fate he was beginning to see coming. But, the fallen angel was unsuccessful, and witnessed the revival of Lord Janus and the death of Kraken first-hand. A year passed, and Leareth was able to start accessing more of his previous powers. He had also begun to play the Devil's Advocate in Janus's empire, working both for and against his forces in a strangely balanced way. As the year ended, the angel met up with the holder of Apollo's Harp, where he finally came to realize the true reason for his weakness and partial amnesia was that his soul was incomplete. Travelling with this man and others, including Milly, Leareth went down to Tartarus. There, they all went through a battle and in the end, Leareth was able to regain his soul from Cronus and become whole. Rising back up, the angel found that things had taken a turn for the worse in the upper world. Searching around the world, Leareth found one of Dion's best helpers, a martial artist named Jin Dao, and quickly proceeded into battle. Others joined in with them and it was here that Leareth first saw a spark in Milly's eyes. It was also here that he gained his first true level of respect for Michael, seeing the man bravely battle against a foe far beyond his power. Still, all of them together were able to almost defeat the martial artist, but things went wrong as Clint initiated his war on Daetulus. After taking a quick rest to heal from his battle with Jin Dao, and during this time he began to grow closer to Milly, Leareth was taken on as Michael's lieutenant for the 3rd Army, but before he could go to help his captain, the angel learned that Milly's family was held in ransom by the Preying Blades. The way they challenged the angel was obviously a trap, but he went ahead against it. At the meeting place, Leareth encountered both Rutland and another of the Blades and would have most likely been defeated, had Jin Dao not been there and helped the angel defeat them. Afterwords, Leareth felt Rabist and Janus close in on each other and headed straight for Daetulus, only to return there too late. He found Rabisat alive and raring to destroy the world and so Leareth immediately went into battle once again, this time knowing he had no chance to defeat the enemy before him. That is, until Andrew cast the Archmage's Gambit, sealing away Rabisat's main source of power and allowing for the group to finally cast down the entity of Chaos, of which Leareth struck the final blow. A week passed, and Leareth was hit by a certain feeling of melancholy as things began to balance out under Douglass's command. He did participate in the celebration with Michael and the rest of the 3rd Army, but their happiness was to be short-lived as the angel once again found the Preying Blades and Clint striking against Daetulus. Personality: A generally good-natured entity, Leareth has been known to be entirely uncontrollable in his desires. In fact, the only ones that have successfully ordered the angel around are Michael and Douglass, and even they meet limited success. For Leareth, he feels a certain need to be free, to never again be a slave like he was when he was a true Angel. As he is what he is, Leareth also has a multitude of wisdom and knowledge from his past, but he has also become disconnected with the views and ideals of the masses. While anyone could hold a conversation with the entity, they would find that there is a certain feeling of removal from what Leareth truly is. Significant Relationships: He will protect Milly and anyone close to her with his life, as he has a love and deep care for the girl. The same goes for the 3rd Army and his captain, Michael, for he actually respects the human. Leareth also feels a deep love and loyalty for Lucifer, even though the latter is a powerful symbol of all that is evil and sinful within any universe(though he goes by different names for each). As for Jin Dao, Leareth has a running rivalry with the martial artist and will try anything to surpass him. Martial Abilities: Leareth is a very successful swordsman. He was taught the greatsword by his father, a man famous for his skills when that world existed. For the rest of his skills with the blade, Leareth learned them across his journeys as a spy and corrupter for Hell. On magic, Leareth learned from both God and the archangel Michael his holy powers, while Lucifer taught him all he knows of the powers of Darkness. Skills: Leareth is very good at singing with his tenor voice and playing the piano and has some skill with the guitar. He is also an extremely good actor, for he had to be to infiltrate the hierarchies of multiple worlds. Leareth also as limited success with telepathic powers, but he mostly ignores them unless he is in the process of a very secretive mission. Title: Lieutenant of the 3rd Army and of Hell Motivations: Leareth is determined to right all the wrongs that the gods are pushing upon the world. He believes he can find a way to stop them without death, but if must be, Leareth will do all he can to slay them. |

Name: Vergel Merzarick Race: Human Age: 26 Appearance: Vergel is a bit tall. He wears a red shirt with a prominent collar and red pants with blue embroidery at ends. The small amount of armor he wears consisted of two blue-coated mythril shoulder pads and a pair of large straps connecting them. The straps held up the sheath of a sword, which Vergel carried on his back. His hair was dark red. His eyes, black. He weighs about 220 lbs. ![]() History: He is the reincarnation of a boy from a small village who dreamed of being a hero, only to die in his first attempt at heroism. He was reincarnated, but istantly shucked aside. He and Siema exchanged letters while in prison. HE worked for Clint for a few years, then joined up with a group of warriors. He shortly parted ways, and went on a murderous rampage, tallying up a bunch of kills that he's not proud of. Finally, after battling Frey, a little bit of his sanity was recovered, and he dropped a facade he was carrying around. He rejoined with his missing half, then, to unseal magic, booted it from his mind, becoming, finally, one soul, just his own. Personality: He wants to be a hero, and shows it through trying to get to trouble and solve it first. He's often brash, and his wanna-be hero nature means he often charges into battle without thinking. He's very emotional, and will fall into emotion traps quickly. He cares for his allies, and only wants to help them, even if what he does is actually harmfull. Significant Relationships: Siema- Vergel believes he's starting to feel feelings toward her. She constantly drags him off on adventurers, but he's gratefull for the company. They shared notes while they were both in prison. Moot- The two often band together to do various things. To Vergel, it's like they balance each other out. Thinks Moot's kinda greedy. Michael- He admires all the hard work Michael puts forth, even if he doesn't understand the politics he's embroiled with. Frey- Vergel's wondering if there's even an actual connection between them, and if Frey sees the evil Vergel he knew when he talks to him. Raphael- Vergel wants to speak with him again. While he's still afraid of the man, he wants to try his best to accept forgiveness. Martial Abilities: Vergel can use Swords very well, preferring to use a hand-and-a-half sword most of the time. He's also slowly aquiring the magic of a Red Mage, that is, some White, Green, and Black magic, with a few off his own spells. Everyday he leans more and more toward being a Knight Mage. He also knows how to use his energy for skills, most of which are erratic. Skills: The only mundane thing that Vergel can do is write, though he's also good at the occasional philosophical comment. Title: Vergel Merzarick, Wanna-be hero. Motivations: Short-term: He wants to properly thank Kyle Gordon for helping him. Long-term... He's starting to feel something towards Siema, and wants to know where that'll go. He also eventually wants to establish himself as a Hero. |

Name: Frey Frater Race: Human Age: 33 Appearance: A tall man with an average build. Has long, blue hair and light blue eyes. Wears heavy mythril armor with elegant shoulder, arm, and leg armor. Wears dark blue clothes underneath the armor, including a tunic with a short skirt and tight pants. Has mythril boots with pointed toes. History: Frey Frater was the legendary hero responsible for sealing the Traveler's Gate, the ancient artifact used to seal Janus during the Great War. During the war, Frey and a group of handpicked warriors defended the human kingdoms from monsters, demons, and the pawns of the four Elemental Fiends, also called the Elemental Beasts. Where the advanced technology of the great kingdoms failed, Frey's power prevailed in battle against the Elemental Fiends. He achieved feats long thought of as impossible for mere humans, and killed many thousands of demons. Later, Frey would become overcome by guilt for having killed on such a scale. Ironically, Frey fueled the spell to seal Janus with his own life, sealing himself in his own sword, which would be later stolen from the Traveler's Gate by Dion, who would spend years searching for a way to free Frey from it. Eventually, Dion and Jin Dao managed the feat, and Frey was forced to once again fight the creature Rabisat. Personality: Frey is a sullen man of few words. He feels disconnected from the current world. He distrusts all of the current kingdoms, especially Daetalus. Released from his imprisonment in his own sword Significant Relationships[/b]: As a man from the past, Frey does not know anyone in the current world except for Janus, and he is unwilling to meet new people because of his fear that they will remind him of the people he has lost once before. Martial Abilities: As a Paladin, his skills with a blade were the greatest in the world, allowing him to easily hold his own even against the mightiest of demons. It is said no man, demon, or god ever bested him in combat. He was also responsible for developing an early form of holy energy similar to sol. The connection of the two energies remains a mystery. Skills: Burst Limit: With this technique, Frey simplified the energy expended in moving the body at high speeds and perfected it to such levels that he can channel his full power into bursts of energy that last less than a second. He has trained enough in this style of fighting to be one of the most deadly physical fighters who exists. Title: The Legendary Hero (To humans) The White Devil (To demons) Motivations: Frey's motivations remain mysterious, but he does seem to be suspicious of the gods enough to fight them. |

Name: Milly Renton Race: Human Age: 17 Appearance: Milly is short, which comes from being malnourished in her early life. She hit puberty late, and is just beginning to fully grow into the figure of a woman. She wears flowing white robes with light leather armor underneath for protection. She often has pins or braids in her wild brown hair. She has brown eyes and a round face. History: Milly was born on a small farming settlement east of Dingard and bordering the eternal forest. Her childhood was carefree and happy, and when she was 8 her father enrolled her in a instructional school for White Mages, hoping that she would learn enough healing spells to be able to take care of sick animals when tending the farm. Her time at the school was well spent. Almost immediately, her instructors saw that she had great potential to use White Magic. Thus, she quickly excelled in her studies, becoming one of the most accomplished students at the school. Finally, at the age of 15 she graduated, having learned a great variety of spells. Having earned the official title of White Mage she returned home to help her father and brothers tend the farm. However, a year later her settlement was attacked when Dingard began moving eastward on a path of invasion. Her father, mother, and brothers were brutally murdered at the hands of the barbaric soldiers, and the farm itself was burned to the group. Escaping only thanks to the help of Oliver, a sage disguised as one of her cows, she fled into the Eternal Forest, where she and Oliver fought for survival. There, she met Andrew and the group. She initially joined only for protection, but as she and Oliver continued traveling with them she became attached to them. Although, she may only be struggling to rebuild emotional connections she lost. Even though she was not as close to her family as she would have liked, their deaths affected her greatly, traumatizing the poor girl so much that she was forced to repress her feelings. After hiding these feelings deep down, she worries that they will come out and change her. Personality: Milly has a bubbly personality, but she can be serious when the situation arises. Significant Relationships: Leareth: Milly and Leareth's relationship has blossomed greatly recently, and she is beginning to openly explore her feelings for him. Martial Abilities: Milly is a powerful white mage with great potential for improvement, and she has proved time and time again to be invaluable to the group. Trained by the archmage Kurde Amani, she has attained all of his skills and spells, making her the foremost expert on white magic. Skills: White magic: Milly has a complete knowledge of standardized white magic, as well as some knowledge of forbidden spells passed down from archmage to archmage. Sphere Shot: Milly has learned Kurde Amani's signature technique for attacking--or healing--multiple targets. Title: Archmage of White Magic Motivations: Milly wants to help people and grow her reputation as archmage. Her humble beginnings allow her to appreciate her growing fame, though she perhaps becomes too easily overcome with her sudden importance. Edited by JDWitchdoctor, Aug 2 2011, 12:50:43 AM.

Name: Lucan "Lucian" Banks Race: Human Age: 33 Appearance: Lucian is an abnormally tall man with a long, red coat and a wide red hat. Wears the typical garb of a red mage, but most of it is often ruffled. He also wears body armor underneath his coat, as well as many pairs of pistols in the pockets. He always wears a pair of tinted yellow sunglasses because of his sensitive eyes. History: Lucian was born with the name Lucan, and he was the son of a poor merchant who was forced into hard labor by the violent CSS, the main rival to the crime syndicate ran by Cosco. Lucian saw firsthand the horrors of organized crime, but he gained valuable experience and fighting skills that gave him hope of escaping his conditions. After his parents died under terrible conditions, workers in the CSS gave Lucian the chance to become an agent, working as a paid assassin. However, once they gave him weapons of his own, he turned on them. Lucian mercilessly wiped out the organization, attracting the attention of the military. He joined Dingard's army, utilizing his talents in battle to make a comfortable living. Eventually, he worked his way up to the highest ranks, but a series of scandals saw him leave the armed forces. His career after that turned back to organized crime as Cosco, leader of the Syndicate, offered him a high position. However, he also gained memories of his previous existence through the psychic Elise. Lucian was originally a scientist who, after predicting the destruction of his world's sun, became the last man on his world of Regulus. The painful memories Lucian recalled almost drove him into madness. As a result, Cosco required him to accept steady psychic therapy from Elise until his mind could become calm again.Eventually, this led to Lucian meeting the main group. Cosco soon gave him the order to bring Andrew to the Syndicate for questioning. The events after that led him to becoming Andrew's protector and voice in the Syndicate. He follows the group, however, for his own reasons, which he refuses to disclose to anyone, even Andrew. Personality: Dark and creepy, but sometimes amiable enough to hold decent conversations. He holds many painful memories in his unconscious, which often strains him. Significant Relationships: Andrew: Lucian protected Andrew during their travels together, and feels some obligation to continue protecting him because of Cosco's last words to him. Martial Abilities: Lucian's marksmanship is remarkable and fast, as are his reflexes, which makes him quite hard to hit. He also possesses the augment of a necromancer, allowing him to use dark, twisted magic to his own ends. He has some command over the undead, and his powerful gravity and darkness spells are a great threat to any opponent. He also carries a rapier, which he has reasonable skill wielding if he must resort to close-range combat. As a Red Mage, he also has the potential to use low level White and Black magic, though he has not extensively trained in those fields. Skills: Red Magic: Gravity Magic: Necromancy: Marksmanship: Title: Lucian the Crimson Motivations: Lucian wants to help end the wars and rebuild the world, as he promised to Cosco before his death. She gained valuable experience working for them, but eventually she decided to study directly under her famous uncle. However, little did she know that helping the group would lead to her uncle's death. Even after he bravely perished when buying enough time for the group to escape from the creature Rabist, Cid's legacy and influence would inspire Rheda to join the group, even after she left for a while after disagreeing with Andrew's choice to accept the Syndicate's help. Name: Lunais Nume Race: Human Age: 24 Appearance: Lunais wore a black and red bard outfit with a light yellow cape that extended to his knees and covered the harp at his back. He had dark blue eyes and wild black hair. He was of medium height with a slight build. He often wore eye liner and blush in order to maintain an appearance as an traveling entertainer. History: Lunais, a master of ancient magical Bardsong, was raised on the snowy summits of the Northwestern Continent's Glug Mountains. Trained to be a monk at a secluded monastery, it seemed that his life would take the path of solemn dignity among the holy order. However, an act of villainy prevented him from accomplishing this. As the monks prayed one day, a great hole opened up in the clouds, and a meteorite crashed down on the monastary, killing everyone except for Lunais. Alone and untrained in ways to defend himself, Lunais had only a book of ancient Bardsongs left. As he trekked through the dangerous mountains, he quickly mastered the songs in order to survive, becoming a bard not out of choice, but out of need. Many have said that this greatly increased his potential. Lunais wandered around for years after that, eventually making his way to the Central Continent, where he met Gillis. Gillis offered to train the talented bard in magic, but before he could begin his training Lunais lost Gillis when the sage decided to run off. The ensuing events led Lunais to meet and join the group. He stayed with them for a while, but eventually went his own way. Personality: Lunais was a quiet fellow, never speaking of himself or his past, but he is polite. Significant Relationships: Nieve: Nieve respected Lunais greatly for his deeds on Terra. Jin Dao: Lunais and Jin Dao once trained together, though Jin easily surpassed Lunais. Martial Abilities: His abilities in battle are mostly defensive, though he learned an incredible variety of magical bardsongs, offensive and supportive. Skills: Sonic Wave Manipulation Title: The Wandering Bard Motivations: Lunais's motivations remained mysterious for much of the RP, though he eventually wanted to help the group defend the Central Continent from the gods. |

Name: Michael Kurenai Race: Human Age: 23 Appearance: 5'11" with a medium build, brown eyes, short brown hair. Michael wears a black trench coat lined with thin metal plates on the inside, to act as a shield of sorts. He wears this coat over a black military uniform, with his gold Captain insignia displayed on his chest. History: Michael was born as the moogle in one of their last remaining villages. He left the village when he was young, hoping to study engineering in one of the big cities in the world, and get away from the horrible cold. Unfortunately, he was turned down by all the schools on his home continent. He finally chose to study Alchemy with a nice old man named Reynold Hyaga, in Reynald’s potion shop on the outskirts of Reno. When the old man died, Kyupo was the only person left to inherit Reynold’s potion shop. He worked as a chemist for over 10 years, until he disappeared mysteriously. A group of travelers found him frozen in a cave of ice. They set him free, and he traveled with them for a while until the day the being named Janus was set free. Hiding for months on end, he eventually attempted to make a shapeshifting potion, and accidentally wound up permanently human. He joined the army of Daetalus soon afterwords. Event Summary: Michael served as a prison guard at the Rosencaster Secure Jailing Facility, until he helped two former friends of his escape. Running from the army for several days, he was eventually recruited back into the army as the lieutenant of Captain Hugo Duman of the Third Army. A few days later, his captain deserts the army, leaving Michael as captain of the Third Army. Michael leads the army in a defense of Daetalus against the forces of Clint, an enemy from his past life. This leads Emperor Janus to name him Supreme Commander of Daetalus. He continues to lead the forces of Daetalus against Clint until Janus is killed, after which the newly-formed democratic government of Daetalus forces Michael to step down. Michael resumes his duties as the captain of the Third Army, while butting heads with the new leader of Daetalus, General Reinhart Douglass. After a fierce battle with the Goddess of Darkness, Nyx, Michael is summoned to meet with a demoted Douglass personally, becoming one of the last people to see him alive before the former general is assassinated. Reconciling his differences with him, he is unwittingly tasked with breaking the seal placed on magic, which directly lead to his Lord Janus' death. Joining Dr. Kyle Gordon, Vergel Merchekz, and Moot Corona, they set out on a trip through the Wild Lands. As they journey, they come across a downed Lancer pilot, Alix Tuetsi, and a Sage named Gillis trapped in a temple filled with dark crystals. The group is confronted by a weakened Clint as they attempt to leave the temple, however. Intending to make a sacrifice so the rest of the group can escape, Michael attacks Clint while the others teleport away. Before they can fight, however, Clint is possessed by none other than Janus. Once more pledging his allegiance to Order, Michael and Janus teleport back up to the group, and resume their journey. Personality: While Kyupo was a calm, patient worker, Michael is generally bi-polar. His dramatic change into human adulthood resulted in a chaotic personality. One day, he can be the calm, patient thinker Kyupo was, while others, he is quick to anger and even quicker to quiet. The one characteristic that stays the same is his intelligence: No matter what mood he's in, he is able to think clearly and come up with answers fast. Significant Relationships: Leareth - As his former lieutenant, Michael thought they were friends, but Leareth's sudden departure left him feeling betrayed. Vergel - While often verbally berating him for his stupid actions, Michael believes Vergel's intentions are pure, and has much respect for him. Alix - Though he barely knows her, Michael feels some strange bond with Alix. Could it be... Janus - Though Michael knows Janus is one part of an ancient being of chaos and destruction, he believes that when his lord is separated from Rabist, there could be more to him than just raw power. Martial Abilities: Michael is a dragoon, a warrior trained in aerial combat. He fights using a spear, often jumping high into the air and coming down on enemies with powerful piercing blows. Michael has no training in magic, though he can use magical-infused items to simulate magic. Skills: Chemistry, alchemy, strategist Title: -Captain of the Third Army of Daetalus (Formal) -High Commander of the New Empire of Daetalus Motivations: Michael is driven to restore the Empire of Daetalus to power, finding both the Control Faction and the Janus Loyalists to be insufficient. Although the only help he has right now is Lord Janus, a resurrected Cornelius, and Alix, he believes (somewhat arrogantly) that Daetalus is ultimately powerless to stop him. |

Name: 5HAD-0W (Pronounced 'Shadow') Race: Human Cyborg Age: Est. 1000 Years Appearance: 5HAD-0W is forever a beautiful teenage girl, though her body was not fully reconstructed when she was shut down. She is 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a 69.5 inch bust, a 31.8 inch waist, 44.2 inch hips, lean shoulders and long, powerful legs. While she looks amazingly fit, the alloys used to construct her increased her weight to 750 pounds, though this does not effect her mobility at all. Her face is round with large, violet eyes, fat lips, and small nose. Most of her body is coated with synthetic lightly-toned skin, maintained by the two magical cores that keep her alive, along with waist-length whiteish-blond hair. On her back are two lines of variably-shaped ports, where her combat attachments connect to her body. The upper part of her right leg and a part of her hip are missing their outer frame, revealing a relatively small framework of systems before ending with a shell covering her remaining living systems. Despite being built otherwise, she wears modest clothing. Most of the time, she is dressed in a blue sweater, with a black long-sleeved shirt underneath, and loose-fitting black cotton pants. On her feet she wears pink-laced sandals. Experiment 5HAD-0W actually consists of two parts: The girl, the main experiment, and her combat systems, which are housed in a large, floating sarcophagus-like black box. Inside it houses several attachments which give 5HA-D0W abilities like more arms, a heavy-artillery function, and flight. The box also can hold 5HAD-0W herself, in cases of emergency systems shutdowns. History: Experiment 5HAD-0W was developed by the Army of the Republic of Daetalus in the year 50 AC. She was really born 17 years earlier, but died in a tragic house fire with the rest of her family. The army was able to recover her body, and began restoring the half-destroyed body. Salvaging her lungs, stomach and intestines, and her reproductive system, they rebuilt the rest of her, while developing what they believed to be the first man-made artificial intelligence, if not the world's first AI of any kind. Field-testing her as a scout, the project seemed to be going well. However, while scouting, she is seen returning to the lab by several civilians along with her combat systems housing. This raises a panic in the city, and eventually armed soldiers are sent in to shut down the project. The researchers resist, and are slain, but 5HAD-0W is deactivated except for the systems that keep her biological parts running and stored away in her sarcophagus. Her preservation systems continue to run until 1001 AC, when the Archmage's Gambit seals away magic. Her systems, devoid of power, begin to shut down, and the sarcophagus's back-up systems engage. However, they only have enough power for six months. She would have died if the seal had not been broken by Michael, Alix, Vegel and the rest of his group. Drawing upon magic once more, her systems come back to life with a bang, leading to a traceable energy reading revealing her existence. Her housing is found, transferred to a vault, and left to sit again.... Personality: Unlike her body, her mind is completely cybernetic, run by an incomplete, rudimentary AI system. Her emotional capabilities were either unfinished or non-existant, though several lines if data remain that point to the former. Her speech pattern consists at an attempt to logically express how she feels before she says what she wants to. Significant Relationships: None Martial Abilities: 5HAD-0W wields a rifle named "Godslayer" in battle, that is supposed to steal magical energy from it's victim and return it to herself, though the rifle is currently inoperable. Her true combat skills are the several attachment forms that change her combat abilities. Her first form, Quadratic Combat Mode, adds two addition appendages to her body, essentially giving her four arms. The second form, Artillery Mode, encloses two cannons around her hands, and attaches an magic cannon to her back. The third form, Flight Mode, attaches a pair of robotic angel-like wings to her body, which in reality manipulate gravity for flight. Skills: Combat Title: Experiment 5HAD-0W, Army of the Republic of Daetalus (Title given on introduction) Motivations: None Edited by Shadow, May 24 2012, 09:04:33 PM.

Ignore Mizu's old bio. It's horribly off-canon, as La Notte, among others, don't exist. Like, at all. Most recent bio, written in December 2010(I guess? ****, it's been forever...) Name: Mizu Sacer Age: 97(Appears in her early twenties) Race: Sekihan Height: 5 feet, 4 inches. Weight: 119 pounds Bloodtype: Unknown Gender: Female Hobby(s): Reading. Research Appearance: ![]() Background: Mizu was born near the end of the 'Demon Wars', a battle between Sekiha and a horde of demons wanting to destroy it. Sekiha's king, Izuno, had discovered the ability of Sol, a powerful light magic that instantly made him a threat to the demons. Sadly, Mizu's mother, Yuki, died during childbirth: something Mizu for which Mizu blamed her father for many years. This wasn't helped by the fact that, after the war, Izuno became distant, focusing more on the good of the people then the own remains of his family. Over the years, she discovered she had the same ability to use Sol as him, abet seemingly weaker. When Mizu turned 15, she could stand it no longer. With the aid of Izuno's close friend, the shady demon Drake, she fled the castle and then Sekiha altogether. She wandered for many years, building up a large collection of books as she learned as much about the world as she could. During this time, she met a young man named Kazen, who had the same abilities as her(even if he was a bit reckless in the use of his powers). Although at first antagonistic(Mizu thought of him as a idiot, and he thought of her as a annoying bookworm), the two became quite close, honing their powers together. It wasn't until a good five years after she met them that a relationship began, but soon both were deeply in love. However, he died in mysterious circumstances shortly after their engagement was announced. At first she had thought he had simply just, run away(even if it was out of character), but finding a severed hand with their engagement ring on it removed all doubt.Although deeply saddened by this, she was able to get over her grief and go on with life. She continued her and Kazen's mission, helping towns around the world by fighting off bandits, demons, and the like. Eventually she settled down in a house several miles from a small city, where she continued studying and collecting books. During this time, she also continued to hone her abilities as best as she could with limited resources(with no books on such a subject yet, and the only person skilled enough to teach her the father she had left behind). She spent a large span of her lifetime doing this, leaving her home only for supplies and the occasional drink at the bar as she listened to what was happening in the world(although, as she discovered, much more then one drink caused...embarrassing things to happen to her.). It wasn't long before she heard a nearby city had been attacked by powerful demon. Heading to the city, she helped the survivors as best she could. During this, she met a young girl named Ena, who's parents, two former bounty hunters, had been the primary targets of the attack. Discovering she had the ability to use Sol as well. After some thought, she took the orphaned girl in and taught her. The two became close as the training progress, forming a sort of mother-daughter relationship. She approved of Ena's decision to focus on healing arts, rather then the more destructive abilities of Sol. Eventually, Ena sought down the demon who had killed her parents and, rather then kill him instantly, she decided to hear his story. Discovering that the demon had killed her parents to avenge his own, she left him in his cave, letting him live rather then continue the cycle that had formed. However, tragedy struck when Ena was brutally murdered, seemingly by soldiers of Sekiha! --Blade of Chaos plotline-- Enraged by this, and knowing that she wasn't strong enough to get revenge on her own, she allied her self with the one person she knew capable: Zerazo himself. She led Ryuza's brother, Kazuma, to where Zerazo was sealed, in a sword deep beneath the city. When Kazuma took the sword, he was possessed, and proceeded to have demons he summoned destroy the city. Although this was not in their deal, she allowed it, destroying the city when it was overrun, and remaining neutral through much of the events that followed. Ryuza went to her for help, asking her first to help her in his battle, then later to train him. Although she refused at first, she followed him around, occasionally giving advice. After defeating a transformed Hunter demon on his own, she decided he was worthy enough for at least some training. During this time, she met Bernard Vittore, near death after a battle. Although she didn't want him around, she nevertheless let him stay with them as she trained Ryuza. Cold towards him at first, they soon became friends. It wasn't until after Bernard and Mizu had a few drinks one night that Mizu admitted she liked him, and the two started a relationship that lasted even long after the alcohol wore off. She was devastated when, in the final battle, Bernard was seemingly slain and Zerazo revealed as the mastermind behind Ena's death(having used shape-shifting demons), the wounded Mizu lent her power to Ryuza, allowing him to cast Zerazo's soul out of Kazuma's body. Embittered by the deaths of people in the close to her, she became cold and bitter, closing herself off from the world entirely... --- Years later, she was contacted by Zerazo once more, who offered to bring Ena and Bernard back from the dead...in exchange for the lives of Ryuza and Kazuma. Although she was suspicious, she was ultimately accepted, having been corrupted by Zerazo's final attack years earlier(causing her to not remember his role in Ena's death), and generally desperate enough to risk betrayal. Although it didn't work out as she hoped, events conspired to reveal Bernard never really died,, and, in a ironic twist, Ena was revived by Zeazo's ally, Athara, inadvertently fulfilling at least part of the deal. Now that her loved ones were back with her, she began to revert to the girl she had been, many years ago... |
