Well quite boring game today, most of the squad looked like they left there brains in bed. Izzy, Fisher and Commons looked the only players interested today, Lucky enough we were up against a very poor Hertz team, There need's to be some players going and some decent players coming in, Stadium half empty today again as well, No atmos, hope the board are proud of themself. Main thing is we got the 3 point's..... 2-0 f.t. Oh wee need a striker with goals asap! Sammy and Ledley look to be on there way out, Stokes and Pukki are lightweight, and i have no idea why he wont give Balde a chance......

First off, good result, especially after a ponderous first half. Surely there was a point an hour in when Lennon thought that Balde might be able to add something to the proceedings? Bringing on the effervescent Forrest for the cumbersome Biton at half time was a masterstroke and changed the game, but the presence in the box for a number of very good crosses from the wide areas was just nonexistent. Surely Balde, on the basis of his sheer physical presence would have been a better option than Stokes, who was poor all afternoon? Glad we came away with the points but despite having almost all of the game, we had to rely on a Commons clearance off the line to get the points. Had that have gone in then I am not sure we would have had the time to get an equaliser. Superb football for both the goals, though some of the refereeing was atrocious, both for and against Celtic today. Euan Norris has always been a terrible ref and he played to form today. Everything around Celtic at the moment is not where it should be, going unbeaten in the league as long as we have for only the third time in our history, and the atmosphere is just as dead as it gets. Reminded of some Ingerlish grounds at times, terrible stuff, and something the board have brought on themselves with their arrogance and stupidity. They talk about the Celtic "brand" and other cold corporate terms, well how has their decisions affected the "brand" today, watching an empty, atmospheric black hole live on TV? Celtic are not "known" for results, rivalries or the league in which they play, they are "known" for atmosphere, colour and noise at the moment and the PLC have ripped all of that to pieces. Anyway, nice to be top of the league and unbeaten I suppose. |

Thought it was going to be one of those games ... the jammy Farts keeper was playing a blinder ... however you just knew that once we broke the deadlock it was going to be a foregone thing ... it could have been at least 4-0 in the first half if it wasnt for their keeper. thought to be honest that Biton didnt do much wrong ... a "water carrier" if you like ... and it looks as if he has been told ... when efe goes on one of his runs .. drop back to cover ... which he did time and time again ... thought big efe had a good game ... donīt know why so many are against him ... as i said before everything he does is positive ... when he brings the ball out ... if the others made runs off the ball to create space ... it would be much better. thought Forrest ... ok he scored but jesus ... he frustrates you soo much ... also noticed that we threw a few balls into the box ... to absolutely no one ... our one target man was sitting on the bench then when it was time to make a change on came ... Sammy ... now I love the guy but ... I think he has given all he is going to give ... and a presence if we are going to throw balls into the area ... he is not actually playing Sammy ahead of Baldé is not exactly planning for the future ... it looks as if Sammy and Joe are for the off next month (if we donīt punt them /they donīt sign a new contract) so when is he going to give game time to someone that he has said needs it ??? Also why does Commons have to take every set piece ?? is it written into his contract ??? thought young Fisher looked good for the future ... not sure why Matthews didnt play tho ... not injured again ???anyhow another 3 points ... another win .. another clean sheet ... crying out for a 20 a season striker let alone 30 (cos I canīt see any of our current guys capable of say 25-30 goals in Scotland (league and cup) and 5 or 6 in Europe) so Santa we have all been very good this year ... yes even the Green Brigade so could you see your way to arranging a 30 goal a season striker ... like Radamel Falcão (but cheaper obviously !!!)
