Decent performance today. Glad to see big Virgil hit the target at last with his head, 2 good headers, As were Ledley's 2, We were always in control, thought Bitton had a good game in midfield, Little Pukki comming in for flack again, But i thought he played well, held the ball up well, and lacked any real service.. 3 point's to bounce back with, and a bit of confidence restored... 1-4 F.T....

I,m glad the early kick off wasnt the Teuchter polis dressed in Stone Island , Fred Perry an Gazelle gutties kickin the shoite out of Celtic fans but was refering to the ko time What a difference accurate corners & deliveries from the wings makes rather than aimless punts into an empty penalty box There was some outstanding performances yesterday - Izzy , Virgil , Fisher , Brown Hopefully this is the beginning of a return to the form that we all know Ledley is capable of ... how we,ve missed Brown in CL .... Pukki & Forrest are struggling to make an impact in games Would Izzys ramaging up & down the wing have been facilitated by the absence of Sami ? ..... A good performance all round after an away fixture in the week followed by an away domestic fixture that kicked off early on Saturday Fishers cross for Ledleys goal was terrific |

Terrific response from midweek and a well deserved win. Virgil van Dijk.. what can I say? An excellent defender, looks a class above anything we have seen at centre half in a long long time, and will definitely be playing in a better league, and for a top team before too long if he continues as he has done. Adding goals to his game just puts the icing on the cake.Ledley did what he used to do, popping up with goals out of nowhere, so all in all a good day for Celtic, despite Ross County never really amounting to much. Four goals and four headers, something that is good to see we have in the locker. As for the other matter, the change of formation, I thought it was brave and worked to a tee, with Izaguirre and Fisher making really good contributions and Mulgrew excellent in the centre of the park, spraying the ball from side to side with ease. I don't think Forrest will have been too pleased with it, and would have liked to have seen Balde playing alongside Pukki instead. I would imagine Forrest is best deployed wide with the ability to cut in or go on the outside with ease. I wasn't too sure about the other two midfielders, Brown and Biton. To be honest wasn't too impressed with Brown, and thought he was poor in parts, unlike the rest of his season where he has been playing very well. Very pleased to see him give a wee bit back to Kovacevic, who, I was shocked wasn't substituted earlier given the way in which he lost the plot. I think Brown was playing a wee bit out of position and it showed. As for Biton, despite Lennon's praise of the player for his performance in his first league start, I am yet to be convinced there is a player there. I think he is slow to the ball, slow in terms of his thinking, and always on the verge of getting sent off. Then again, what I think doesn't matter, and Lennon will know what he is looking for. Great result though, and now a nice wee break. Hopefully everyone comes back unscathed for the last 6 weeks of the year and we can guarantee some form of European football after the new year.

I haven't heard the usual Poppy discussion - does that mean there wasn't a Poppy on the Celtic shirt this year ? Edited by Wiggy, Nov 11 2013, 06:46 PM.

No poppies, no minute silence. The latter apparently due to a change of personnel at Ross County and neglected in error. Basically, they forgot those who are meant to never be forgotten.
