Celtic face an injury crisis ahead of the visit by Scottish Premiership leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Georgios Samaras, James Forrest, Derk Boerrigter, Anthony Stokes and Kris Commons are all very doubtful.
Inverness have a full squad from which to pick as they look to protect a record of not conceding a goal in three victories this season.
Gary Warren has a hand injury, but it will not prevent the defender taking to the field in Glasgow.
Celtic midfielder Charlie Mulgrew: "Everybody has thought a lot about the Shakhter game but it's all about being positive now.
"It's good that we have a game quickly to bounce back and hopefully we can do that.
"We're just concentrating on Inverness, the next game is always the most important."
Inverness manager Terry Butcher : "There's a supreme confidence flooding throughout the team, but there's a realisation that, in all three matches we have won, there's been a lot of hard work and effort that have gone into these games.
"Whether it be running off the ball, covering, defending, tackling, our boys have worked their socks off and that's what they have to do on Saturday.
"But the lads know that. There's a good understanding and confidence and relaxation about going down there because the boys know what they can do and what they have to do.
"There's a great belief in the team, but there's a steady belief. We know if we keep on doing what we are doing, trying to penetrate, pass the ball, that we will create chances.
"We have players in the team that can change games and win games on their own and players who can see the game out if we are ahead."

#Celtic starting XI to play ICT:

Forster; Matthews, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Kayal, Rogic, Mulgrew; Amido, Watt

Subs: Zaluska, Ledley, Mouyokolo, Lustig, Atajic, McGeouch, Henderson.

Will be a tight game, I'll predict 2-1 to the Hoops.... :ynwa:

Hopefully they,ll play with 5 across the box with 4 in the middle with a speedy striker on his lonesome to hold the ball up and try for free-kicks against our defenders as I think that's how our opponents will line up on Wednesday

I,d rest Brown as he,s vital for Wednesday we know what Sami & Stokes offer so play Amido for full 90 mins , play the central defenders who will play Wednesday in fact play the back 4

Yes if Rogic is fit play him to see how he does against a packed midfield an defence , don't suppose our Dutch winger will be fit

Play Ledley .................... I,ve got us to win 4-1 Ledley first scorer 90/1

Will we see a coupla new signings introduced to the crowd at halftime ? ....... one ? :wallbash:

AMIDO Balde makes his first competitive start for Celtic today against Inverness Caley Thistle as Neil Lennon makes five changes to the team that took on Shakhter Karagandy on Tuesday night.

Also coming into the starting XI are Efe Ambrose, Beram Kayal, Tom Rogic and Tony Watt, with the Hoops looking to bounce back following their defeat in Kazakhstan and extend their 100 per cent start to the domestic season.

Today's team:

CELTIC (4-4-2) Forster; Matthews, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Kayal, Rogic, Mulgrew; Amido, Watt

Subs: Zaluska, Ledley, Mouyokolo, Lustig, Atajic, McGeouch, Henderson

Fine with that team ...... am guessing we play through Rogic with the front 2 an the fullbacks giving him lots of movement

got a draw in the end quite brutal stuff at times, but with players out through injury, We lacked any real conviction in and around there box. It's time now Mr Liwell and co got the cash out, We deffo need players in. Just hope Sammy and co are fit for wed night. :(

Good comeback but we really know how to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Credit to ICT, who, like many teams, come to CP with the idea of taking small risks and hoping that Celtic will make mistakes, an approach that seems to bear more dividends than it should really. Thought we started well but lacked that bit of guile around their area to make things work.

I was pleased with Balde today, mostly because he got stronger the longer the game went on, which tells me he has a bit of heart and will get the pace of this league, and when he does, he will score goals, of that I am sure. :thumb up: Had a few sighters and will start to convert those to goals in the future. Thought it was just a bit disjointed on the whole and thankfully they managed to get a point out of it.

Scott Brown.... played well in pockets today but sometimes he does my head in with his distribution. As in Kazakhstan, he seems to be equally capable at being at the heart of what is good about the side as well as contributing to the failings of the side, giving the ball away etc. I think this is something we are going to have to live with. Must learn to keep the ball better and play the simple passes and then he will be a complete midfielder. His pass to Matthews though....

Need some fire power up front desperately though. Development of players is one thing, but we have a massive issue regarding what needs to be done on Wednesday night.

Well ICT obliged by giving us a dress rehearsal for Wednesday looking to not lose , attacking us in numbers quickly after us laying siege to their penalty box , time wasting and even with odd long throw

I liked Balde - his ability to hold the ball with his back to their goal , winning headers , his presence & strength ..... he,ll do well but not when he,s brought on in the 87th minute

Dear me we make hard work of simple high balls into our box ffs

our goals scored by defenders  ..... Rogic will be a first team player don't know if he can dominate European teams don't know when he,ll displace one of these - Commons , Ledley , Brown , Kayal , Mulgrew

Izzys crosses in can be haphazard but on Wednesday we have no room for error every ball in from either flank must be quality - on Baldes forehead or on Commons' toe etc

don't know how bad Kayals injury is which is a worry as he was looking good especially coming out of defence at speed , watt should,ve scored from one breakaway

Mathews was very good ... Lustig fullback , Mathews right midfield ?

Thought we,d win when we equalised , plenty of room for criticism - very little variation etc
