Not just him Henke the whole defence has been rotten now for week's, between that and this lazy dropping back deep attitude, God help us on wed night.... ;)

Main thing is we got trough, And if we don't take this Cup then there's seriously something wrong in that changing room Lenny.

Defence has been Rotten for the past few week's now. Awfull at Murderwell and very poor today again. Wilson is far to slow, Izzy has never been the same since he broke his ankle last season. Matthews plays well, But switches off at time's, Rogne dose not want to play for us anymore, You can see that, After all he's refused a new deal. Ambrose look's burn't out. Wanyama is dreaming of man who, And Kayal is just looking to play. Young Forest was superb today again, His pace and crossing has improved. Stokes has no awareness around him and is far to greedy at time's. Ledley break's his hump to get in there, And Broon is a big miss with his driving runs. Main problem is Lenny is making to many changes every week, To much chopping and changing the team. It don't work.

First of all, really glad we are through but it has to be said there is so much wrong with the team at the moment, some of which falls to the manager and some to the players.

Lennon is going to have to learn quickly how to keep his squad motivated, as at the moment there seems to be a lack of drive in the side. As pye correctly points out, there seems to be too many changes in critical areas at the moment. I am fine with 2-3 changes to freshen things up but when you start getting more than that, especially in the engine room, then you are bound to have problems.

Izaguirre's howler aside, I think the big problem today was that we did things in fits and starts and you are never safe like that with only a slender lead. I think the biggest problem is with Ambrose in midfield. The guy gives you so much domestically being able to run out of central defence with the ball, especially when he has midfield cover. When he plays in midfield he sometimes seems like a fish out of water and should resume his partnership with Wilson at the back. Wilson can't play with anyone else anyway. I feel bad for Rogne but he should sign his contract and get on with it. There is no other way to develop in this position.

Forrest was excellent again, beautifully worked goals with him at the centre of both and Kayal looked the part when he came on. I can't understand how Kayal is dropped all the time, he can be the basis for the domination of games. It is strange that he is so similar to Lennon as a player yet the manager deems his type of player as surplus to requirements. Reads the game so well and needs games for us to see the best of him. Alongside Ledley and Wanyama, that midfield trio has everything to boss games domestically, Ledley and Wanyama have great presence in both boxes and then you have Forrest, Samaras, Hooper, Commons, Lassad, Stokes et al to compete for the three forward roles. Hardly rocket science if you ask me. Then again, Lennon has his own thinking. :???:

Still, through eh. :thumb up:

We have a good midfield just now. Strongest for many a day, but the defence is a feckin bombscare.

Big Forster looks jittery as hell bar his save from Carey, and Rogne looks very shaky with every game imo.
I thought he was the digs baws when I first saw him, but he`s not the same player imo.

It scares me to say Wilson is our best defender as he`s too bloody soft.

Izzy has been doing fine recently imo, but he was guilty of ball watching for two goals v Well and today was one of those things. Forster didn`t help though. Concrete in the boots, when he should have come and blootered everything in sight.

Thought Hooper had a great game. Bossed their back four and looks every bit a class act.

Glad we`re through.
I`m not biased. I don`t care who beats Rangers
