Will accept nothing but a focused , motivated Celtic team treating the black & white stripes of St Mirren for those of Juventus ..... we,ve all had to endure recent fiascos such as semi-final defeats at the hands of Hertz & Ross County and a Cup final defeat v Kilmarnock ... complacency v Ross County & Kilmarnock ? well I want our strongest team out , injury allowing , determined to reach a domestic final

I want a domestic treble I want to stuff Hertz in the final but would equally enjoy hammering ICT ....... Izzy is coming back to form , Lustig starting Mathews on the bench ? ..... Wilson ok to play ? ..... 4 in the middle 2 up front ?

Never a great atmosphere at this version of Hampden :(

On BBC Scotland  .... pundits - Nevin , Paterson , Provan , Leivin , Burley  .... hopefully WGS

Yep well done St.Mirren wanted it from the off and deserve to be in the final....

As for us, Lazy bone idle turn up and win attitude once again take's over the fact that the other team are so pumped for what might be the crowing glory of there season.

From out bench to the field, everyone of them looked like they did not give f**k , It's the fans that make the trip and pay there wedges so why not turn up in a semi-final of a cup and make a good effort...

As for Saint Mirren i will be cheering them on against the diet huns, Fair play to them they deserve there place in the final.

Feckin awful from the team sheet to the performance. A real giruy to the fans. It was almost as if we didn`t want to be there.

St Mirren were worthy of their place in the final imo. At least their meagerly paid players fought for the jersey unlike every Celtic player.

Wanyama and Hooper did very little to tempt watchers and Samaras was feckin dreadful. What about his sublime beating of two players only to hump the ball fifty yards the other side of the park setting up a St Mirren attack? Chancer.Chase.

We need a second goalie. Zaluska is utter pish.
We need a couple of centre halfs( see last twenty transfer windows Lenny) as Wilson is pure and ssimply rubbish.

Izzy looks a real disaster now. Feart in the tackle and offers next to bugger all going forward. If we get a bid of £2m plus, take it and run.

Lennon`s team choice was crazy. No Lustig or Commons?!
I`m not biased. I don`t care who beats Rangers

It is up to us, to everyone at Celtic Park, to build up our own legends. We don’t want to live with history, to be compared with legends from the past. We must make new legends."

Overran in midfield nod lacked heart. Hope atleast 1 signing is brought in this week to shake the place up, too many are guaranteed a start week in week out.

Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic. Well done to St. Mirren they were obviously willing to run over broken glass to get to the final unlike our bunch of primadonnas. Hope they win the cup.

Like everyone else, I agree that credit goes to St Mirren for a gutsy performance, took their chances and played very well.

Lesson to all other teams... score first against Celtic and you will get something out of the game.

Although it didn't work out, I thought the selection was justified for Lennon as none of those players have fared badly this season, but.... a few points...

The combination of Mulgrew and Wilson at centre half is an absolute disaster. Both are very capable playing alongside other players but together there is clearly no understanding between them and this is what allowed St Mirren to score first. It would appear that Mulgrew doesn't trust Wilson (and probably vice versa) as they can't seem to play a simple offside trap. Both were horribly out of position throughout the move.

Add to that the fact that we were overrun in midfield (Kayal was a big miss) from virtually the first kick of the ball from Ledley and had no creative spark against a team that sat back and defended in numbers and there was no surprise in the result for me. Ledley still isn't back to full fitness and had the worst 20 minutes he will ever have in a Celtic shirt, giving the ball away, not being anywhere near his man to make a challenge and being completely off the boil. As for the creative side of things, it seems we have gotten too comfortable with only playing on the break and while that is great to watch there has to be something else in the locker when it comes to playing sides who sit back.

Up front, I thought Hooper was good, fair play to him and Samaras and Lassad also contributed in their own way and with a wee bit of luck, who knows?

End of the day, if Mulgrew had buried that penalty, we would be sitting here waxing lyrical about Lennon's Celtic, going through to another final against a plucky St Mirren side.
