This bunch are my least favoured visitors to Celtic Park so I dont expect to see much in the way of entertainment ...... home matches that I,ve seen have tended to be dire but what can we do when they will try and suffocate the life out the game Am guessin Ledley , Forrest , Commons are out so for me .... dont know if Mulgrew is available or Mathews ( am as well informed as yer average Glasgow taxi driver )FF , Lustig , Ambrose , Wilson ( if not suspended ) , Izzy Brown , Vic , Kayal , Samaras Lassad & Hooper |

Thought we started excellently, had a quiet moment after that and then totally lost all shape and focus when Lennon brought off Kayal. All in all, an excellent result, especially given some atrocious officiating. The referee should be seriously reprimanded for his performance this afternoon, booking people unnecessarily, letting tackles go without even a speaking to and one one occasion, allowing Keith Lasley to stop the game himself after the ref had allowed play to continue. And then there was the penalty... Blatant dive, but what a save. It's a young team but I think the one massive gap that is evident is the lack of an effective Plan B. It is why we keep losing games when we go a goal down, all the other side has to do is sit in and resist what they have been resisting all game. What was evident today was just how much we rely on Charlie Mulgrew at set pieces. His delivery makes all the difference and he deserves all the accolades he has received recently. 2012 surely had him at the top of the game from a consistency and effective standpoint. As for the rest, it is good to see Commons back, Samaras was unplayable for the bulk of the game and Kayal unlucky to get substituted (thought he was excellent again, especially in the first half). Ambrose, Wanyama and Wilson were all good as well and the two Englishmen made all the difference at either end of the ground (as is becoming their habit). Well played them all, have a happy break and come back in one piece from the African Nations Mr. Ambrose.

Well they were more positive/attacking than I thought they,d be which likely says more about our home form ....... firstly is their captain ok after those 2 career threatening tackles ? is his dream move to oblivion in any doubt What a fantastic save Thought we were very sloppy/slack with our passing with Ambrose/Vic particularly guilty a number of times with 1 such poor passin midfield leading to their " penalty " Izzy had an uncomfortable afternoon with Wilson coming to his rescue with a beautifully timed sliding tackle that began in Mount Vernon The referee was truly awfull booking FF @ the penalty ....... look forward to seeing him officiate at the Scottish Cup Final Thought we were one dimensional , predictable & laboured @ times lacking the quick passing & movement we,ve shown ...... we,re obviously crying out for a midfield playmaker imo but as we know they,re as plentiful as rocking horse shit |

That was a long trip for me, 2 am now an back home, bus full of negative....not to mention the boat, which will be my last..... Same as Hibs game, dominate but have f-all in the final 3rd, we looked so poor on the flanks, no creativity, shocking crosses, Thank good for 2 good things Fraser and Hooper.... Regards the ref desachi it was william collum he's been a zombie now for long time, so never expect a fair game off that corpse....

Didn't think it was Collum (didn't look like him) and a wee check of the BBC website says it was some fellow called Steven McLean. Either way, it was a Collum-esque performance, that's for sure. |
