the ref was a cheating bassa  , but tbh we didn't deserve more than a point with that performance hearts played well, it has to be said, but we have to be creating and taking more chances another chance to increase our lead and we blew it

Very frustrating watching today. Charlie Richmond was a shocker. They shouldn't have had a goal, Kingston should have gone for his lunge at McGeady and to only add 3 minutes at the end, in spite of the time wasting was, frankly, ludicrous. Glad to see we managed to increase the pace of the game, but we really should be looking to play at that pace from the off. Happy we got our equaliser, all things considered, it could have been a much worse weekend in the grand scheme of things, especially after the midweek CL game. No consolation in that really, we should have won this one. On a plus point, good to see Samaras getting more involved. Shows you how much we are crying out for someone with some height in the box. Get well soon JVoH. :thumbs.up: Three seasons ago, we were a "one half" team, and today, we turned back to that habit. WGS was learning his trade then, I think, I hope he learns to prepare better. We all knew before the game that Hearts were going to be about Kingston and Driver, and that is exactly what they were. Answers before kick off please.

He needs to go and soon. Whether we win or lose the league this season, he needs to go. I cannae take watching this shite much longer. I would prefer he was dumped on his arse today, but I know that won t happen, so I suppose we will have to wait till he has conceded the league to that utter dross over the city before we can get rid of him. As long as he stays this insufferable pish will continue. And it's funny how so called inferior managers like Levien, McGee and the Hearts guy have their teams playing attractive stuff, with so called inferior players too. Yet tactical genius, can't. Just get him to fuck at the end of the season. Don't care how yees do it, but just get rid of him for the sake of the club. |

If we scramble to a forth league win, that will be fine, but I can`t stand this up and down pish. We need change. |

I seriously doubt we will Blair. Win a fourth I mean. Which would be ineptitude of monumental proportions, from the players but more so from our, ha, "manager". Because as average a team we are, a different manager would have a different effect on them. His baffling decisions (team selections, tactics and subs) are having the opposite effect on the team and is just making their jobs all the more difficult. And it also makes the decision by the board not to replace him at the end of last season, so so foolish. Everybody could see under him we were no longer going to develop as a team. He isn't capable of it. He signs average at best players and then plays them regardless of form. His tactics are a joke. An amateur manager would laugh at them. His use of substitutions counter productive and aggravating. The evidence has been there for all to see for 2 and a half years. And boy do we need a striker! The decision to buy Samaras and give fat boy a 5 year contract (off the back of ONE good season) and the number seven jersey (When it should have been Aiden's) was foolhardy in the extreme. As much as we need a left back, a striker is the absolute priority for the new manager whoever he may be. I would say the defence needs sorted as a whole too (barring the excellent Hinkel) but we all know fantapants would need to suffer a stroke first before dropping the decidedly average Mcmanus and Caldwell. Funny how he has no qualms dropping Wilson who barring the OF game has done nothing wrong since playing in the unfamiliar left back postion. He certainly hasn't played any worse than hauddit and doddit. Jesus, that was a bit of rant wasn't it? :pmsl: |

Henke, I have a hunch that McDonald will be gone in January. Frnakly, if Sammi gets back to his pre-injury form, we won`t need a desperate purchase, and to be equally frank, who is available and who would come to CP? I have no problem with WGS as a man, but I don`t like him as Celtic Manager. A tactical manager would have had the Huns dead and buried the last two seasons, and I readily admit they threw the league last year just the same way we did in Eck`s two titles. I have this bleak feeling that come May, we will be staring down the barrel of emptiness. The Huns are kack, but we have this terrible habit of giving them hope. They are talking of offloading ten first team players while we pay our "stars" for being ordinary. Today, the message was simple. Keep them out at all costs as we will have chances. By accounts, it took us nearly one hour (at home) to test the keeper. Tell you another thing, we need to sign a player worthy of the famous number seven. Mcdonald if he stays could do better. Not number 7 marterial. Seriously and I know we have nearly exhausted this before, but I would bring Henke back and seal four in a row, then I would have him as Manager. |

WGS can look at times like a managerial novice, but by the same token he delivers championships and there is no getting away from that. The argument that dominates will always be that in the end, quality rises to the top and it is quality that wins championships. That said, some of his decisions baffle me to be honest, but on a wider scale, we have been winning things without doing anything that special and he does have a dressing room firmly behind him. What is so incredibly revealing is the fact that there is so much discontent with the whole thing. Granted, some of it, is down to people not liking WGS, but much of it is for good reason as well, and increasingly so. That said, much of the criticism and where it all comes from, in my book at any rate, is out of the remit of the manager, and is a direct reflection of what sits above him in the pecking order. No matter how you look at it, WGS is the manager that dreams are made of for the powers that be, and this is why he will leave when he wants to. Put him in place, give him a pittance in terms of spending money and get to participate in a flag unveiling ceremony every year while the CL cash comes rolling in. The guy is going to be here for donkeys years if you ask me. I don't want WGS to leave because I don't trust this board to bring in someone better. Simple as that. Despite that, I cannot pretend I am happy about things, as, for me, I have ambitions for my team, that involve being the best there is out there. Might not be realistic in many people's eyes, but that is the magic of Celtic and the magic of the game of football. It is turgid, but better the devil you know... That there says it all, the most I can do in terms of getting a convincing reason for the status quo remaining. Pretty pathetic set of circumstances if you ask me. |

Des, I share the same concerns regarding the clubs willingness to go out and find a better replacement, but let's be honest, it is a gamble we have to take. We are going nowhere. The team has been filled with mediocrity. And no amount of the 3 in a row, last 16 twice amount of shite can defend this joker. The is more to Celtic than winning trophies and since Strachan has been manager there have been precious little times when I have got enjoyment out of being a supporter. The man does not understand the job, nor the fans. IMO, we should be moving Heaven and Earth to get back you know who. |
