Have to say, that was one of the best SPL performances I have seen in years. We never gave them a sniff at goal, the ball was passed around with confidence and invention and the movement and workrate by the whole side was a joy to behold. Now that is playing like Champions and even better to do it to a team managed by that torn faced git. :thumbs.up: Everyone played well tonight, but for me there were three standouts in Sheridan, Donati and Hinkel all of whom were masters of their own areas of the park today. Sheridan did what all strikers should today, chased down everything, won balls in the air, held the ball up well, and above all scored goals. Donati, well he breezed through that game, no one got close to him today and he passed the ball around very well, spreading the play at the right time, picking the right pass the vast majority of times and looked a good partner for Scott Brown. Hinkel? Well, I think the German has finally settled into the pace of the Scottish game. My rule of thumb is that for players who aren't used to the mad mental pace of the SPL will take up to a year, and that is coming up for him, good to see him coming into some sort of form. For me any of the three could have been man of the match today, a brilliant performance all round, assured and done with a wee bit of style. Well done Naka as well. Clean sheet, three points, four point lead. Very pleasing night of football. |

Looking at the side overall, I think Robson and Hartley will tire and Donati looks like he is back to prove himself. Well done bhoys, but I said 4-0 Strachan not 3-0! Trying to get myself respect in the prediction league ffs! :tongue.out: |

I`m not biased. I don`t care who beats Rangers It is up to us, to everyone at Celtic Park, to build up our own legends. We don’t want to live with history, to be compared with legends from the past. We must make new legends." Jock Stein | |

Whit about the "bringing the game into disrepute" charge that should face Wattie and Steven Davis? Oh right forgot they wear blue shirts. (Radio Scotland after the game at Fir Park)Comments about the linesman and Smith Managing to include Scott McDonald`s name in the equation! How low can they go? Third, fourth? By the way, thone Steven Davis needs to clean up his accent. Dirty barsteward. |
