Can only comment on the first half as I fell asleep pished, at half time!

Anyway, in the first half I thought we were brilliant. Played the game the way it was meant to be played. Moved the ball around crisply and with purpose. Maloney's goal was a beezer! A right peach!

Liked Caldwell's goal too as it made Booth's voice enter the dog whistle territory. :pmsl: "That wiz a hundball!! That wiz a hundball!!" Fanny!!

Apart from his goal though, Caldwell was his usual up and down self. Every good thing is tempered by some schoolboy stuff.

The stuff that impressed me the most though, was the way we pressured them high up the park. Well, all over the park, but high up the park is where you win midfield battles and hence the game and we did that perfectly. Never gave the diet huns a chance.

Robson was outstanding. Would love to go into a 50/50 with him!

The midfield in general was pretty top notch. Brown, Hartley and Maloney to a lesser extent.

Up front is a worry though. Sherriden has a lot of potential, but Berra had him in his back pocket in that first half. But it's all part of the learning curve.

More worrying is McDonald's continued lack of form. He was the experienced striker on the park and should have been helping the big paddy, rather than trying to make things more difficult for him.

Overall good stuff. We must play like that against Manure. Forget the names. Forget the reputations. Never give them a second on the ball and press them up the park and we will give the Manc bastards a game.

Surprised wee Aiden was on the bench again. Methinks there was more to the bust up chat than meets the eye. :sherlock:

All their singing got them feck all. Nothing like pumping the mini huns apart from their big cousins naturally.

Maloney`s goal reminded me of Allan Thomson`s rocket v Huns at CP

Surprise, fucking surprise!!

No mention of the Billy boys, the famine song et al, being sung. NOr the disgusting Jock Stein banner that ended with FTP.

Never heard the Oh ah, up the 'ra myself. And don't have a problem inthe slightest with BOTOB being sung. So fuck them and fuck The Sun.

I blame the directors of Celtic fc for not coming out and stating the case for the support.
The Irish songs are not sectarian.

Funny how "Derry`s Walls" is acceptable.

Anyone sent the clip of the Hertz lot singing to the Sun Henke?

Peter Lawell already made that clear the other week. :thumbs.up:
