That is my initial reaction to this suggestion.

Aiden ready to go on strike
By Alison McConnell
Aiden McGeady has offered Gordon Strachan a solution to the current striking crisis at Parkhead by making himself available for a forward berth.
With Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Georgios Samaras facing at least another few weeks in the treatment room, while Chris Killen is also struggling after a knee operation, Strachan's only regular first-team striker is Scott McDonald.
Cillian Sheridan did his first-team chances no harm at all at the weekend with a goal against Hibs, but the Irish teenager will not be rushed into first-team football too quickly after a couple of years in which he too has laboured with injuries.
The one thing that would be against McGeady in the striking department is his height, or lack of it, given that the diminutive McDonald is far from a giant.
Against Manchester United at Old Trafford last week it was apparent that Celtic had no imposing front man who could hold the ball up, but while McGeady might not be an ideal striker, he is willing to do a shift there should it be required.
"Injuries are something you just have to deal with at this club and we've got a big enough squad to cope with that at present," he said. "It just so happens that a few strikers are out at the moment, but we need to get on with things.
"The manager still has a few options for the striking roles and I would be happy to help out if he asked me to. I've played there a few times under the manager and I quite enjoy it.
"Willie McStay played me up front for almost an entire season in the youth team and it was good. I scored a few goals and felt comfortable. I'd be more than willing to do it again if the manager wanted me to."
McGeady came on from the bench on Saturday afternoon after Celtic had been pegged back to 2-2 by Hibs, and the versatile Republic of Ireland international would obviously like to start games on the pitch rather than on the sidelines.
The arrival of Shaun Maloney means Strachan has more wide options that ever, but McGeady believes there is room in the first team for both he and Maloney as well as Shunsuke Nakamura.
It appears that the Japanese midfielder is preparing himself for a return to his homeland in January, but between now and then McGeady hopes the manager can fit all three players into the starting XI.
"I don't think there's any reason why we can't all play in the same side and I think the manager feels the same way. Against Villarreal, we all played in a trio behind the striker and I felt it worked well, as did the gaffer.
"I started the season on the left, but I've played more on the right wing recently.
"I've said in the past that I wouldn't mind playing through the middle when I get older as well. It's the same with Shaun and Naka."
Celtic are off to Rugby Park this evening to fight for a place in the semi-final of the Co-operative Insurance Cup and the games will come thick and fast now up until Christmas.
This weekend it is a visit to Hearts and then, of course, Manchester United are next up at Parkhead in the Champions League.
And while McGeady wants to have a hand in Celtic claiming a clean sweep this season, he knows that the bread and butter of the SPL is king.
He said: "There's a lot going on at the moment with a few games in different competitions, but our league form has to remain a priority. We can't lose our focus.
"We had a few slip-ups earlier in the season, but we regrouped and worked hard to get back to the top of the table. We can't let that go easily.
"History tells you that these spells in the season are crucial. When you are juggling European and domestic matches, the demands are higher so we have to ensure we don't let our standards slip.
"It's a hectic part of the season for all of us. We have midweek games for months at a time and how we cope with those could determine how we do for the rest of the season.
"I like playing at Tynecastle, even though the atmosphere can be a bit hostile. They tend to give me stick but what can you do?
"They have started quite well this season and I think the SPL does need a strong Hearts side. You want as many teams competing as possible, not just ourselves and Rangers."
And as for Celtic's European aspirations, McGeady is unwilling to admit they are all but over for another season.
Realistically, the second phase of the Champions League looks well out of reach for the Hoops but a viable dream is the Uefa Cup where Celtic could prolong their European season.
"At the moment, second place isn't out of reach for us but, given our current position, third place and a spot in the Uefa Cup would be good for us," McGeady told the Celtic View.
"But we still have two home games and, with our record at Celtic Park, you'd like to think we'll take something from at least one of those games.
"Because of what we have achieved in the last few years people expect it to happen every year.
"But you need to look at the quality we are up against."
Tonight's game is live on BBC1, kick-off 7.45pm.

If Strachan had any Intelligents he would go 4-3-3 as the simple Solution, With Cillian Sheridan as his target man, And McDonald and McGeady as his supporting strikers... He tryed it once in the friendly against Feyenood and it worked superb that night.
This would be my team for tonight.
Boruc
Hinkle McManus Loovens Caddis
Brown Hartley Robson
McGeady Sheridan McDonald

I think there is a policy from board level down to confuse the fans at every given opportunity.
Just tell them not to say anything. These dafty wee interviews with gems like "I would play anywhere for Celtic" and "we tried really hard" etc etc hold absolutely no value. Should go without saying.
Symptomatic of a slow slow news time.
Not much positive about in the news of late, so they roll out the players to make these types of "badge kissing" statements and supposedly make us, the fans, all happy. Scary how the Celtic View is looking more and more like the Daily Record in terms of quality.

If McGeadie could score we could look for £20m plus for him. Fact is his shooting on the whole for Celtic and Ireland is a joke considering the skill he posesses.
Only thing that would come good out of it was the pace he could inject and help pull defenders out of the middle.

I`m not biased. I don`t care who beats Rangers
It is up to us, to everyone at Celtic Park, to build up our own legends. We don’t want to live with history, to be compared with legends from the past. We must make new legends." Jock Stein
